Vulpi, Ha-Yun, Chispa, and Seeboe Vulpi decides to go first this time. They randomly pull a pepper out of the basket and eat it. Fully prepared this time, they have no issue and swallow it without a problem. The audience cheers and applauds.
Seeboe goes second. He pops a randomly chosen pepper into his mouth and bites down. This time, there is some spice. But it's not too much, and he might be wondering what the big deal was at this point. The audience cheers and applauds.
Ha-Yun goes next. She picks a random pepper and pops it in her mouth, and instantly her mouth is on fire. "Uh-oh, looks like someone got a flamethrower!" announces Vi to the audience. Ha-Yun chokes and gasps, and then belches up a cloud of spice into the air. But she manages to resist going for the milk. The audience cheers and applauds.
Chispa goes last again. She chooses a pepper and eats it. It's another sweet heat; hot, but pleasantly so and quite delicious at that. She downs it easily. The audience cheers and applauds.
"Well done, well done, you all managed to get to the end, a rare feat," Vi says. "As a reward, please accept this cool bowl of yogurt!" Each of them are given a big bowl of creamy yogurt, which helps tremendously for cooling the fires in their mouths.

Ha-Yun is quick to eat the yogurt after the last pepper that she ate. "Yeah, that one was way spicier than the ones I have had back home," she says as she steps off the stage with the yogurt in hand. "But fun all the same," she adds as she looks for another gold tent.

As the party departs, feeling good about their victory, they begin the search for the next golden tent. However, shouting rises over the sounds of haggling shoppers and the sizzle of cooking street food A shrill voice cries out, "Give it back, you little thief!" "No, you're the thief!" replies a youngster with a panicked squeak. An instant later, a frantic kobold bursts from the crowd clutching a sizable bunch of green onions. A flustered gnome woman chases him. The kobold youngster glances over his shoulder and so doesn't see the party until he accidentally collides right into Zencho, bouncing off the tiefling and falling backwards to the ground. The gnome woman manages to catch up and she grabs at the green onions, but the kobold refuses to relinquish them. The two shout and tug at the onions back and forth.

Can I look for any markings or symbols on the Kobald that might identify them as belonging to any sort of group: perhaps a thieves guild, a kobald clan, a family unit. I'm not yet worried about if I might know what group, most importantly to me is whether there exists a group, but if I can identify the group great! I assume perception or investigation check for finding markings and history for knowing the group.

Trying not to show favoritism towards the Gnomish Woman, Seeboe tries calming her by speaking to her in Gnomish and perhaps get her side of the story.

Vulpi does not notice any insignias or markings on either the kobold youth or the gnomish woman.
(OOC: Can I get a Persuasion check from Seeboe to see if he can calm them down?)

Seeboe manages to separate the two and calm them down enough to talk. The gnomish woman insists the kobold youth stole the green onions from her restaurant. The kobold, however, claims she stole them first from his family's own restaurant, and he was only stealing them back. At this point another kobold shows up, this one an older woman. "That's enough, Lamai! You're behaving no better than our parents did; stealing from me and attacking my son!" She is dressed in an impeccable purple-and-gold silk gown and has polished horns. The gnomish woman, Lamai, has dark wild hair and she shakes her ladle menacingly. "You have some nerve! But no less than I would expect from a Xungoon! You're just as bad as your ancestors!" The kobold youth dashes behind the kobold woman, still clutching the onions. The kobold woman says, "So you deny you stole those onions from my seafood cart and knocked it over?" "Of course I deny it!" Lamai insists. "You expect me to swallow that load of codswallop?!" The two women begin arguing in an escalating fashion.

At the peppers tent Chispa give the shortest possible smile to the crowd, then to Vi, "Interesting new crops. Good luck and I hope it will be a *Hot Product*. Don't forget to mention that the Shieldbearers are an unbeatable team." With that she is glad to drink the yogurt and leave the place behind.
As they witness the Kobold-Gnome argument Chispa just prepare to prevent bloodshed. Besides that she leaves the talking and investigation to the others.

"Hey, wait," Ha-Yun says as she steps between the older women. "Why do you insist that she stole the onions first?" She asks the kobold. It was clear that these two had a beef and were looking for ways to discredit each other.

The two bickering woman look to the party at Ha-Yun's words. "Ah! Shieldbearers!" the kobold woman exclaims, approaching them. "I'm Kusa Xungoon, proprietor of market-famous Xungoon Family Seafood: for a fish typhoon, you'll wish for Xungoon! Help us deal with this scoundrel and I'll make it worth your while!"
"Scoundrel?!" the gnome shouts, turning their way. "You don't look like you're wrapped up in market politics. I'm Lamai Tyenmo. Help me figure out what's going on here, and I'll give you a lifestime supply of delicious noodles from Tyenmo Noodles!"
"Why would they want a lifetime supply of gross slop?" asks Kusa. "Help me prove she's behind this, and I'll give you a lifetime supply of seafood and 20 gold pieces."
Lamai snarls, "Why would they want your dried out seafood? I'll give you a lifetime supply of noodles, 50 gold pieces and my secret to making bewildering mobius noodles."
Kusa ups the ante further. "Lifetime supply of seafood, 100 gold pieces and my secret thrice-fried tarrasque trout recipe!"
The two begin arguing again, each trying to up the other's deal.

Vulpi is going to look for a market tent that might sell green onions. If unable to find that, then will settle for a restaurant they could bargain for some spare green onions with. They will try to do this without drawing too much attention to themselves and if they see it they'll try and slip away without being noticed.
