Okay, so there are supposed to be Nine Companions, but with the introduction of Gaffleknot and Lirian, we're up to eleven.
Lirian will take Arvin's place, as they are very similar anyway both in abilities and in background.
Gaffleknot will take Marik's place as the party rogue.
However, Heather is quite attached to Marik as a character (he and Kendra were even romantically linked in KC), so she has decided to drop Saeari as a henchman. This leaves room in the party for Marik to take up the role as 'protector.'
This means Marik will be the one to find the blue crystal staff and return it to Kendra.
So we're back down to Nine Companions, as it should be.

If all possible, I'd like to run a 'prologue' for each PC here on the forums. This will take place a few days before the first session. The reason for this is that Gaff and Kendra will be starting the game in different places. Kendra is in Solace, and Gaff will be just arriving (and encounter Toede, etc.).
Once your character is finished, we can run the prologue.

Okay, so I updated the Timeline to now include Gaffleknot and Lirian, but not Arvin.
I've also updated Lirian's and Gaf's stats, but as their bios are still works in progress, haven't touched them yet.
Heather fixed Kendra's bio, removing references of Arvin and replacing Saeari with Marik. Now she just needs to pick her proficiencies.

Okay, Joe can you roll the HP for Gaf and Lirian here: invisiblecastle.com/Just post the link after you roll. Remember, 1st level HP is always full (so 6 for Gaf, 10 for Lirian--it's only for the remaining levels you need to roll). Also, HT/WT for Lirian. Then we're pretty much good to go.

Okay, prologues are both done. All that is left is to finish the current game and for me to finish up work on DL1.

So while we're waiting for the next session, I thought I'd go ahead and ask you guys now: What do you want to do after DL1?
Possibilities:
1.) Immediately proceed to DL2 (Dragons of Flame). 2.) Switch over to CC3 while I work on DL2. When CC3 is done, we switch back to DL2. 3.) Return to CC3, do not continue the DL line.
What say you?

I went ahead and ordered DL2 (Dragons of Flame) anyway. I'll report once it arrives in the mail.

Okay, DL2 arrived today. I've glanced over it. It looks to be much more detailed than the first one, so it should prove a lot of fun. Looks like everyone in the party is supposed to gain one level by the time DL2 starts, so hopefully we'll maintain that balance.

So when we make the change over from DL1 to DL2, I was thinking of altering the XP rules. Or rather, removing them. Instead of calculating and distributing XP like normal, I am thinking we'll just have the characters automatically level up at the end of each module.
This way, there's no concern of the party leveling too fast (and making the game too easy) or too slow (and becoming much harder). And less paperwork for me, and one less thing for us all to keep track of.
So when this module ends, everyone will level up automatically (save Gaf, who all ready has).

I can't believe it's taken us 5 months to run 9 sessions. Man, the holidays messed up our schedule.
Anyway, the next session will likely be the last of DL1. I am working under the assumption that we will then immediately move on to DL2. If there are objections to this plan, now is the time to speak up.
I will actually begin work on DL2 now, because of all of the free time I have now...so we should be ready to make the transition without any delay. Hopefully.
Any thoughts or feedback on the first module so far? Again, now is the time to speak, so I can better integrate any suggestions into the second one ahead of time. After all, I want everyone to have fun in this.

Personally, I think I've had enough of Dragonlance, at least for a while.

Personally, I would like to continue, but I think I need a break from the game. If that means going back to Cradle (because you have to work on it), then I'm all for it.
