Once you guys level up your DL1 characters, I'll switch over your forums for your CC3 characters. Joe, I still have a copy of Sunny's stats, inventory, etc. He'll need some updating, though.
Heather, we'll have to roll up yours again from scratch, since your character sheet has gone missing.

What more do I need to do?

I've put up Sunny's stuff in your forums. I haven't had a chance to go over it in detail, but it should be exactly as you last left him.
You need to fill his weapon and nonweapon proficiency slots (he has one of each). And...well, that's pretty much it.

After that, what next?

That's it, really. Once that's done, I just need to work on a few extra details and Heather needs to roll up her character again and write up a bio. Then we're good to go.

I think there should be a raptor crewmate. It wouldn't be nice to not invite them to the party.
Also, what happened to Sunny's goals?
I'll pick the Law proficiency and the spear weapon proficiency. I'll probably pick warhammer when Sunny reaches level 6.

I updated the site some more. The religion and politics pages. And it occurs to me, that as Cradle is becoming more complicated, sooner or later it will be better for me to just redo the entire pages instead of cramming more stuff in there. I think...even if you could find a raptor who cared about finding the other races (for a reason other than subjugating them), and was willing to work alongside humans, and was willing to take orders from a human captain...how would they row the boat? Seems like that would be kind of awkward. Nobody ever used them. They'd either leave them blank forever, or fill out a couple at the beginning of the game and then never post there again. If you still want to post out some goals, you can go ahead and make your own thread or just use the Relationships thread. (Actually, seems like nobody much uses those either, anymore. Hmm.) Okay, I'll adjust his character sheet.

So, who are the crew of the Dawn's Bride? We've got a captain and 8 rowers. Supplies will be gathered by foraging inland every couple of days. We also need a competent navigator and mapmaker. Perhaps also a carpenter and leatherworker to effect ship repairs. Sunny himself can act as healer and chaplain. I assume the captain will keep discipline on his own ship.

I've all ready statted out the crew, and one of them has the Navigation and Cartography NWPs. Another one has Carpentry. A couple have Rope Use and at least one has Weather Sense.

It occurs to me that with the currach, we won't be able to take additional passengers from the other races, should we decide to take gnomish, dwarvish, or elvish henchman, without replacing other vital crew members.
Is there any reason we aren't using one of the larger coasters? I don't think they're beyond the level of technology of a bronze age culture, especially if they had 5-10 years to complete the ship. This campaign could be a bit like the Argos of Cradle.

I went with the smaller ship mostly so I wouldn't need to keep track of 50 NPCs.

I wouldn't mind shouldering some of that burden. I find ship board life to be quite fascinating.

Well, there's the Dromond, which was used by the Byzantines. It's faster, bigger and more seaworthy than a curragh. It can carry 100 tons of cargo (as opposed to 5 tons). However, it requires a crew of 85. It can run with a skeleton crew of 31, though, if you don't mind a big drop in speed and penalties to seaworthiness, maneuverability, and combat.
