The innkeeper shakes her head. "If anyone knew more, I would wager it wouldn't be much of a mystery! I suppose you could talk to family or friends of the victims, if you want. There's plenty; last I heard, over 100 people have succumbed. As to who is behind it, everyone's got their own opinion. I've heard people say its the constable and Zhents, who hired a sorcerer to create the plague and will then lift it to look like heroes. I've heard people say its Randal Morn, who's poisoned the water to get back at the Zhents. Some say it's the fault of the dwarves, who left some kind of curse back on Eagles' Eyrie that's only now activated. I've even heard people say its the will of the gods, angry at the folk for losing their way. Personally, I'm not sure what to believe any more."

Drezden looks offended when hearing mention of blaming the dwarves "Dwarves eh? I think I need to go talk to my new friend have you seen Gimak around?" he starts looking around for Gimak the dwarf he was talking to the day before.

Drezden looks around the room; the same four patrons that were present yesterday are here today, including Gimak. He is eating breakfast alone at the bar.

Gribben pays for his Brandy. Sips it slowly studying the patrons still in the Inn. I shall take a room for the evening good sir. Gribben pays for the Brandi and his room then retires for the evening. He will study "Wall of Fog" to replace the magic missile he had used. Gribben rises in the morning and will meet the other downstairs in the morning. Good morning everyone.

Drezden gets up says "Pardon me friends I'll be back in a bit." to his friends then walks over to Gimak "Mornin friend Gimak. You heard this blame some folk are placing on our kin for the sickness? some folks are saying it's the fault of the dwarves, who left some kind of curse back on Eagles' Eyrie that's only now activated. Bunch of bull aint it? Though wouldn't surprise me if my friends decide to investigate it. If we do do you wish to come with us?"

Gimak shrugs. "Doesn't surprise me. People are scared, they'll throw blame wherever they can. I guess it's possible this sleeping sickness is related to the Eyrie, but I doubt it." He scratches his beard. "If your friends are keen to come along, that's fine with me. Do you speak for your group then?"

(OOC: The female innkeeper may be offended if Gribben calls her 'good sir.' Anyway, Dram, are you replacing both Magic Missiles with Wall of Fogs? Or just one?)

Drezden "Nah I speak for myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if we seek answers to all the blames for this sickness. Some may be pure insanity to investigate if we wish to lose our heads. If you get my meaning. If we set out to investigate the Eyrie I'll let you know." the dwarf will wait for Gimak to respond before returning to the group.

"Sounds good. I'll be here for most of the day then," Gimak answers.
Drezden returns to the group, who has sat quietly waiting for him.

Elvarian replies, "I'd be happy too if I felt a little better, I might be able to even do something." <wink>

Eringard had been lost in a reverie, but comes out of it with a start. "I've been trying to figure out what to do, where to start" she says, blushing. "I could ask the Morninglord to heal you further, Elvarian, but we might need His help more urgently if anyone gets hurt by what we do today. So my suggestion is that we don't go to the Eagle's Eyerie today, but sometime later when we're at full strength." She clears her throat. "I would like to go see some of the victims and talk to their families. After all, I am a healer. And I need permission to go into the crypt of the Morninglord's temple, which can be obtained at the Constable's tower. Gribben introduced us to the guards of the crypt as a group of monster hunters, so maybe he wants to go to the tower sometime this afternoon to get that permission?"
