The innkeeper chuckles. "Maiden? Been many a year since anyone's called me that. Stew and a mint wine, that'll be seven silver pieces." She heads into the back to get the half-elf's order. While she does so, Gribben keeps an eye out for anyone reacting to Eringard's question. Only one person does--the woman in the brown robes perks up a bit and turns her head slightly as if to listen in.
Gimak nods to Drezden. "Well, helping the sick is a noble cause. But maybe when you're finished, we can team up and delve into the Eyrie. I certainly wouldn't mind some help in exploring the place. No telling what sort of monsters might have moved in since it was abandoned."

Eringard eats quietly and waits for the two men to finish their meal and drink. "Would any of you like to accompany me to the temple?" she asks then, readying herself to go.

Gimak says, "I'm staying here, at the Teshford. So you can either find me here, or leave a message to the innkeeper for me."

(OOC: Eringard wants to go to the temple. Elvarian wishes to stay behind. What say the rest of the group?)

Drezden "Sounds good enough to me Gimak. Enjoy the ale. But I s'pose I should go join the group I'm here with." he indicates the table the other two are sitting at. OOC: Drezden has no need to go to the temple either.

Gribben- We should not go off anywhere alone here. I will travel to the temple with Eringard. He turns to Gimak. Shall we split a room?

Eringard waits for the rest of the group to make up their mind, then leaves for the temple with Gribben and anyone else who will follow.

"Sorry, friend, but I have my own room and am not looking to share with anyone," Gimak tells Gribben.
With that, Gribben and Eringard depart to head for the temple. They enter the town gate and, following the innkeeper's instructions, turn right. After passing a shady looking tavern called the Broken Dagger, they arrive at the temple of Lathander. Or rather, what remains of it.
While the rains of eight seasons have washed away the worst of the soot and ashes, the temple is only a shell of what it once was. Low stone walls still stand, but with no ceiling. The windows are all broken, but the shards remaining suggest they were one filled with beautiful stained glass. There is evidence of sculptures, but they have long since been destroyed. There is a cracked marble basin, streaked with soot and entirely empty. It looks as if water once poured from a fountain in the center of the basin, but it has long since dried up. There are stairs leading down to a cellar of some kind, but they are blocked off by six guardsmen wearing the sigil of the Zhentarim. They are smoking pipes, playing guards, and immediately take notice of the two as they approach.
Elvarian and Drezden, meanwhile, remain at the inn. The innkeeper approaches their table. "So did you boys want rooms for the night or not?" she asks.
