Do you want a Strength check for me or is it routine?

Strength check; it's a pretty big boulder.

Why is Melvin paying for two rooms when Daos already covered his own room?

Why is Melvin paying for two rooms when Daos already covered his own room? Ah, I missed that. Thanks; it's fixed.

OK, I haven't been posting here much because the current chapter just ended (unless Daos has anything else to add), and I need some time to calculate EXP and plan the next chapter.

Since we are between chapters, we might as well divvy up that coin we found. It was 24 copper pieces and 13 silver pieces. The copper is easy, that's 8 CP each. The silver doesn't divide as easily; 4 SP each with 1 SP left over.
Oh, and as an aside, before he would go to bed for the night, he would cast Identify (as a ritual) on Bayla's new axe.

It's a Fear Axe; +1 Battleaxe, 5 charges, regains 1d4+1 at dawn, requires Attunement. The wielder can use a charge after hitting an opponent. If the user succeeds an Intimidation check (opposed by a Wisdom Save), the target is Frightened for 1d4 rounds.

Bayla is such a departure from the characters I normally play. I'll write out her dialogue, then need to go back in and delete words before I post because she's not nearly as verbose as I naturally tend to be

"Can we talk while we walk?" Bayla gruffs. I was under the impression we were.

Technically, not. The orcs were about to start leading the way when you asked about the mage, and I took it as him stopping to answer your question, followed by another burst of conversation.

Ah, okay. The reason I brought it up is I had already mentioned Daos was talking while walking before. "Wolves tend to avoid larger groups, so hopefully they won't pose too much of a problem," Daos speculates. Or so he hopes, anyway. As they move on, he says to the orcs, "Our plan is to try and sneak into the Lun-Chu camp, grab the human mage and hopefully sneak him back out without detection. Then we plan to turn him over to the authorities at Delvinburg. If he is influencing your chieftain, this should hopefully put an end to it, and with a minimum of bloodshed, if all possible. We also are hoping to free the prisoner that was taken from Meyerville. What do you think our chances are of pulling this off? Oh, and does this human mage have a name?" Emphasis in bold.
Then again, maybe the post was missed, since the orcs never responded to his questions.
