I'm going to set things up and hopefully recruit some more players, and in the meantime, Dram can roll up his new character.

Drezden would like to purchase a mule and saddle bags for some of his gear. I think the mules name will be Jack

That's a really good idea. A mule costs 8 GP and a pack saddle is 5 GP, with the bags being either 3 GP for small or 4 GP for large (a small saddle bag can carry 20 lbs while a large one can carry 30 lbs).
I was also thinking about Drezden's time after he left Dagger Falls. The new module will start about a year later. I'm thinking he crossed the Anauroch and went westward to reach the High Forest. There he lived off the land for a long while, dealing with a tribe of goblins that lived there. During that year, he learned how they think, how they fought, and got really good at fighting them. Hence his new species enemy ability. Then after awhile, he started to miss the company of other people, so made his way to Luskan to seek new adventure.
How does that sound? Want to add or change any of it?

I like how you think Daos. I'd go with the large saddle bags. The goblin story makes sense. I like it.

Mule HP KlUifFcm3d8 Here is an image for what I picture Jack to look like, granted this is a female mule but Jack still works could be short for Jacqueline Gear to be moved to the saddle bags are as follows: whetstone [1 lb], scroll case (unknown scroll) [1 lb], spare outfit (soft boots, tunic, vest, surcoat, breeches, hat, gloves, leather belt) [5 lbs], Net of Dreams [10 lbs], On the Aspects of Dreams, Or the Dreamers Travels in Planes Lesser and Greater [5 lbs] & 1 of the 2 hand axes I'll keep one on me the other in the saddle bags. 3d8

Okay, I've rearranged Drezden's gear as you specified, Greywolf. He's now dropped to moderate encumbrance (which is treated like light encumbrance, since he's a dwarf). Did you want to make Jack a female? I have it listed as male, but I can change it; it really doesn't matter. Also, Drezden still has a blank weapon proficiency. Did you want to fill it during that year of downtime or leave it blank for now?
Dram, I think you forgot my house rule on ability adjustments (it's okay, I have a lot of house rules to keep track of), but every character regardless of race gets a +1 and a -1 to any ability scores of their choosing. This rule replaces the normal racial ability adjustment one.

I will use that slot in our down time towards dagger. Keep the mule as a male just figured a picture sometimes is better than me trying to explain my vision of a mule and it's coloring.

In the meantime, I've found two potential players for this game. One is thinking about a fighter/cleric of some kind, while the other wants to be an sun elf fighter/mage.
