Not sure where the 15's are coming from. Here's my math: First roll: 2,4,1,5 = 12 (drop the lowest, 1) = 11
Second roll: 2,5,5,1 = 13 (drop the lowest, 1) = 12 Third roll: 4,6,6,3 = 19 (drop the lowest, 3) = 16 Fourth roll: 6,5,1,1 = 13 (drop the lowest, 1) = 12 Fifth roll: 2,3,3,6 = 14 (drop the lowest, 2) = 12 Sixth roll: 6,1,3,2 = 12 (drop the lowest, 1) = 11 Umm...it seems that on your end, one number on each is wrong. On my end, it’s: 2, 4, 6, 5 2, 5, 6, 1 4, 6, 2, 3 6, 5, 4, 1 2, 3, 6, 6 6, 1, 2, 2 Snacs or Ezeze , can you confirm this? I'm seeing what Daos is seeing. BTW - as we are considering having both a Kender and a Minotaur on the same team, I think it would beneficial to have a ruling now on what the rules would be regarding riding a team mate into battle

Are we talking, like, the kender on the minotaur's shoulders? Melee or projectile attacks? And while the minotaur is stationary or while moving?

...ok, this one is on Snacs. If he sees what you’re seeing, it’s something wrong on my end and I just tank the “meh” stats and try a different character. If he sees what I see, then...well, I’m not sure. Maybe I’ll just give up and roll a new set. Pity...they were good stats.

Reality check: If I want a fighter/bard, I'm going to need some pretty impressive rolls to make an effective character, and as far as I can tell, the odds of getting that are actually better if I go with Method V. Here goes nothing...
fP8thKZe4d6 4d6 4d6 4d6 4d6 4d6
Edit: So that's 9, 15, 16, 13, 13, 7. Not bad, except that 7 has to go either into Con or Wis. A warrior with Con 7? Feels weird, even though it doesn't mean much unless I start having to make system shock rolls and such...
I may go with the fighter/bard concept, but I'll have a look at the available races and also consider some classes with fewer ability score requirement.

Well...huh. I hope this is a one-time occurrence. Luckily, I had a backup plan of playing a Gladiator.
Which nations/races were fighting in the War of the Lance? I plan for my character to be a veteran who was enslaved right after being freed from captivity when the war ended.

Quick question - we're still limited to one kit in total, right? No picking one kit for each class if we multiclass?

Gravity, do you want to try for point buy since you seem to have a pretty good idea what you want to play anyway?
The war ended 10 years ago. The good side consisted of the human nations of Solamnia and Ergoth, the exiled elves (Qualinesti and Silvanesti), the dwarves (both hill and mountain), and the kender, as well as (eventually) the metallic dragons; collectively known as the Whitestone Forces. The evil side consisted of a number of human nations such as Neraka, Khur, and Blode, the ogres, the goblins, the dark dwarves, and the draconians and chromatic dragons; collectively known as the Dragonarmies. The Dragonarmies actually conquered the vast majority of Ansalon (including most of Southern Ergoth) before the Whitestone Forces were able to turn the tides thanks to the metallics and the titular dragonlances.
Rax, yes, one kit per character, regardless of how many classes they have. Speaking of which, did you still want to play an Ergothian Cavalier? I thought about making a custom kit for them, although if you want to stick with the gallant, then that won't be necessary.

Daos is it alright if I take the Myrmidon kit? The 'listed downsides' are essentially 'it's really obvious you're military' and 'you usually worked for someone', and those sound like a great fit for someone who was literally bred for warfare and fits the character idea

That's fine with me. But do you know who he will be working for? He'll be a slave at first, but after he's free, I mean.

The kit doesn't explicitly say you have to be working for someone, just that you usually are. I figure 'was in the dragonarmies and Draconians are known on sight as being vicious, intelligent monsters' fit pretty well with 'people can tell you are military'.

Well, it won’t do me any harm. Even if everything goes terribly wrong, the only requirement for Fighter is Strength 9. 9rtxqnA51d61d61d61d61d61d61d61d6·1d6·1d6·1d6·1d6·1d6·1d6

Snacs, so you are going with a draconian? It's true that, after the war ended, a lot of them were left with nothing. They were literally bred to win this war, and then there was no war. A lot of them wound up becoming mercenaries to make a living, as it was the only life they knew. So that does fit.

Yup, that was my idea, only worse for this Baaz in particular since he got tossed in irons and enslaved. I was either thinking straight fighter, or maybe some sort of Bard?(I don't want to step on anyone's toes build-wise though) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I have an idea of his personality and how I want to play it, just not sure how I actually want to build mechanically.
