"So...setting a course to Sanctuary? Not Sanctuary?" Senllip asks, not sure. Jaeron shrugs "No clue Senllip. Best be ready to cast a lot of create food and water though."

Kalana takes out her flask, shakes it a bit to make sure there is enough left, and then takes a swig. "I'm not really sure how we can turn this into our advantage at this point, but I'm willing to listen," she says. "But talk fast because I am not willing to stay in these unsafe waters for long." "Very well, I shall attempt to be brief. At this point, I believe you have inevitably made enemies of the Bloody Chains. They may not have known you before, but since the meeting with this woman, they will now be able to identify you and your crew as soon as she is returned to them. Therefore, the best way to throw them off your scent is to ensure that she never returns to them. Killing her now and sinking her into the ocean is the surest method of accomplishing that. Another is to keep her prisoner on board, make for a friendly port, and turn her over to anyone in authority that would try and sentence her for her crimes. I imagine I don't need to detail the risks involved in such a plan." "There is a third option, however. The prisoner is a wizard and lieutenant of the Bloody Chains. She is surely in possession of much useful information concerning the operations of her organization. So, sell her to someone that would love to take a shot at the Bloody Chains. I hear the Crimson Wolves still have a presence in Enott and the prisoner indicated that there is no love lost between them. If you are willing to take the risk, we can be rid of the woman without personally harming a hair on her head, strike a blow against the Bloody Chains, and turn a profit while doing so."

Kalana crosses her arms over her chest as she listens to Imrich's proposal, her face remaining neutral throughout the whole thing. Once done, she starts pacing, while she lightly taps her lips with her right index finger as she goes over each scenario in her head. Finally, she starts laughing, and turns to look back to Imrich in amusement. "I have to admit that I do like that you are trying to appeal to what you believe drives me and my crew," she says with a sweet smile. "But you seem to be forgetting that my crew rejected the woman's offer on moral reasons, and now you suggesting to us that we sell this woman to the Crimson Wolves to make a profit. Even if I were to agree to this idea, we would be agreeing to this idea knowing that this woman would most likely be tortured for the information she has on her organization," Kalana points out. "No matter what this woman has done, I can't sell her into a fate like that. I also can't kill her just because she has seen our faces. It is a consequence of our actions, and we will eventually face it. Aside from my moral objections, I also have a personal reason as to why we need to sail away from Draska as soon as possible otherwise we are going to have a much bigger problem on our hands than the Bloody Chains. She stays alive and with us until we get to Sanctuary. Does the rest of the crew object?" she asks, looking vaguely in the general direction of the rest of her shipmates.

“Sounds reasonable to me,” Johannes answers.

Imrich simply shrugs in response. "If you say so...captain."

"Kalana," she says to Imrich. "My name is Kalana, and I'm not really sure how this captain business has been bestowed upon me. As you can probably tell, we haven't been in the possession of this ship for very long, so we haven't really had the time to figure out rankings and things like that."

"I'll tell Bayla to set a course for Serenity then," offers Senllip, referring to the capital city of Sanctuary Island. He heads for the aftcastle to speak to the aarakocra, who has not budged from that spot so far.

"Thanks, Senillp," Kalana says. She reminds herself to speak to Bayla later too as she is sure that this whole situation hasn't left her with the best impression. Until then though, she helps with getting the ship actually moving.

"In the brief time I've been aboard the only person I've overheard challenging the idea of you being the captain is your man Senllip over there. The rest of them all seemed to be looking to you to provide leadership, so my estimation is that you are - or will be soon enough - the captain of this vessel. You just don't know it yet," Imrich replies with the tiniest of smiles. "But if you like, I shall call you Kalana. After all, I'm just a working passenger."

Senllip returns to Kalana and the others. "According to Bayla, with just a skeleton crew, it should take us eleven or twelve days to reach Sanctuary--maybe sooner or maybe later, depending on the wind and weather. Sound good?"

"We have our clerics that can create food and water for us, so we should be fine," Kalana says.

"If you don't want to be the captain we can all have turns." Senllip suggests and immediately bursts in laughter at his own joke. "Ha ha, I don't care, I just want to take the wheel! So to Serenity!" Finding a moment with Rax he says, "I agree this woman is great threat to us. Frankly I thought to kill her too but not when she is helpless. Without her books I understand she can't do no harm. I hope she can't telepathically connect to her people... Anyway... you seem VERY anxious on killing her. Obviously we are not going to sell her as Kalana, the unwilling captain, mentioned. So what is it with you want to kill her? And BTW Kalana, if some other vessels comes to port and go after us they may gain on us. We should consider good story about having this woman with us."

Imrich moves off and begins to assist with getting the Blackmoon under way.
"Then you understand wrong, friend Senllip. A mage memorizes her spells and retains their use until she has cast them. As far as we know, this woman has cast no spells today, so any that she memorized earlier will remain in her mind, ready for use, with no need for her to turn to her spell book. So, you see, a mage is never unarmed until they have cast their last spell. Fortunately, as long as she is properly restrained, our prisoner cannot cast a spell, which is why she must be kept gagged and shackled at all times."
"As for why I have suggested she be killed? There is no secret to it. If we kill her, then all the trouble of keeping her prisoner disappears, along with any easy means the Bloody Chains have of identifying you and your friends. So killing her would be the safest thing to do. In my opinion, it would also be the moral thing to do. She is a slaver, and so deserves no mercy for the crimes she has committed and will continue to commit if we allow her to."
