"Wait," Sidhanar says. "I need...I need to do something first. And I need your help," he says to Ladonna and Lillian. "Come with me, and hurry."

Ladonna excuses herself, and follows after Sidhanar.

Sidhanar leads the two off at a brisk pace. "I've built them all over the forest, just in case," he explains as he picks up the pace. He is jogging before long, then outright sprinting through the forest, to the northeast. "But the one I found last night was destroyed...the kobolds, I think," he huffs between breaths. It's all Ladonna can do to keep up with him. "Hurry...not much time!"

Ladonna lifts up her skirts a little bit to try to keep pace with Sidhanar, but she is finding it a little difficult to do so since he is an elf, and use to this type of stuff. "What are you talking about?" she asks, clearly out of breath from running after him. "Where are we going? What are we doing?" she asks. This is giving her more and more reason to think that maybe he is the wolf creature after all.

Sidhanar does not answer, and after a few minutes of running, they come to a small cabin. It looks quite similar to Sidhanar's own cabin, but much smaller. It has no windows and a heavily reinforced door. "Good, it still stands," he remarks. He approaches the door, and it appears it has been designed so it can be barred from the outside. He reaches for the knob, but then suddenly jerks back and wraps his arms around himself, as if in terrible pain. "No time...listen...you must...you must bar the door and...no matter what you hear...you must not open it until morning. Do you understand?" he grunts.

"You are the wolf," Ladonna says. "We understand. You don't have a lot of time, so get in there before it is too late."

Sidhanar neither confirms or denies that allegation. He simply enters the cabin and closes the door. The sounds of numerous locks clicking can be heard. A short time later, Sidhanar yells out in great pain. There's a sound of someone thrashing around, and a clatter as if something were knocked to the floor. Then...complete and utter silence.

"I guess we will take shifts here?" Ladonna says to Lillian. "And since no one believes us, just keep all of this to yourself."

Inside the cabin there is a monstrous, loud roar. The door starts thudding loudly, and as Ladonna has not used the wooden bar to bar it yet, it looks like it might come down given enough time.
It's at that point that Jonas emerges from the woods, hurries over and grabs the bar, then sets it into place in front of the door. "I saw everything," he admits. "Ladonna, this is it. This might be our chance to come out on top here," he explains. "You were right, the count's warden is a monster. If he report him, turn him in, the count may overlook that we didn't bring in the poachers. We can still be heroes."

Ladonna looks at her father almost in dismay because she didn't know that he was so devious. He wasn't being devious though. He was just being selfish, not that he didn't have good reason to be. "Father, I know you are eager to clear the family name," she says. "And I am too," she adds. "But I'm not turning him in."

"He is clearly a danger to himself and to others," Jonas points out. "Turning him in is not only smart, but it's the right thing to do, as well."

"He is taking care of himself well enough it seems," Ladonna says, motioning to where Sidhanar is locked up at the moment. "That isn't to say that he doesn't need more help, but if we were to turn him in, they would probably just kill him," she explains. "Just like they would with the "poachers" if we were to turn them in. All I need is a convincing story."

"You're gambling a massive amount on this. You have everything to lose and nothing to gain from it, either," Jonas says sternly. "I hope you are prepared to deal with the consequences of your choices when the time comes. Because you aren't the only one who will pay for them."

"I've made a lot of decisions in which I'm dealing with the consequences," Ladonna says. "I'm not scared of the consequences of my actions."

"I just hope everyone else who will pay these consequences will feel the same way," Jonas remarks. Then he storms off back toward the elven camp.
