Rathis had looked at Lalora and seemed as if he were going to say something, (though the cast of his tattooed features suggested that it had most certainly NOT Been something to back her up, before deciding to let it rest,) "Another Round for myself," he told the Barkeep, "I Need a Good Solid drink to polish the end of this night, I believe."

Krixus listens to the responses. He ponders for some time and then says, "I have decided to accompany the group to the ruins with the idea of freeing the slaves from the ogres in the future. I also agree to the equal share of the work yielding equal shares of the treasure. When and where shall we meet before embarking on the quest?"

Nonna brings Rathis another ale. "Two more coppers," she tells him.
"Me go, too," Grognak offers after the minotaur speaks. "Sound better than boat. Last time on boat, not go so well."

He plunks down another Steel, "with my thanks and Compliments," he would tell her without looking up. He would take his time, finish his drink leisurely, and then be off to the temple of Shinare, to check in on Kava and tuck in for the night. The next morning, he would inform the Administrator that he would be leaving for an extended trip to Silvamori, and checking if he needed anything, before he would ensure Kava was well taken care of once more, and head back to the Inn .

“We are a fellowship of warriors then? Excellent! Bring us more cups Nonna. I would share them with my comrades!” He moves to share a drink with the goblin, Minotaur, and mage.

After paying for their drinks, those remaining in the common room whittle down the night hours with drinking and talking, before heading up to bed themselves.
That night, all is peaceful. However, their restful sleep is interrupted by the sound of glass breaking downstairs, and the faint odor of smoke...

Ravarie wakes up with a start from the sound of breaking glass. She looks around with bleary eyes for a moment until she smells the smoke. Quickly, she heads out of her room to see what exactly is going on.

Barefoot, and with no armor or gear, Ravarie rushes out of her room and looks down from the balcony at the common room. There are multiple small but growing fires there. She watches as someone from out front chucks a rock through the window, shattering the glass, and a few moments later, a bottle flies through. When the bottle hits the ground, it shatters and immediately sets everything around it on fire.

Jorrun stumbles down stairs bleary eyed smoke dredging up memories of battle fields and days of the past. He mumbled the word every towns men dreaded. The shouted it, bellowing with an inhuman ability. “FIRE FIRE”

At Jorrun's yells, Nonna emerges from her own room on the ground floor in the back, wearing a night robe and carrying that spiked club she had earlier. She stops in her tracks at the sight of the multiple small fires all over the common room, as well as the broken windows in the front. "My inn!" she cries out in despair, before she succumbs to a coughing attack. The smoke is getting thicker as the flames begin to spread.

Ravarie rushes to grab what little stuff she has before she starts banging on doors (her companions). "FIRE!" She yells in Hope's of getting people's attention.

Banging on everyone's doors, Ravarie manages to wake up a number of people. Sorrith, Lalora, Reeker and Grognak each emerge from their rooms, bleary eyed and confused by the racket. For whatever reason, Maessalathasa does not emerge at all.
"What happening?" Reeker asks. He sniffs the air. "Something burning on stove?"
Once the reality settles in, they become more active. "We need to put it out before it spreads further!" Lalora comments. The four move for the stairs to reach the common room.
"There are barrels of water in the kitchen," Nonna remembers, pointing toward the back door.
(OOC: Whether Krixus, Gerrard, Rathis, and Hunner stay in their rooms and sleep through this or get up, I leave up to their players.)

Ravarie hurries to the kitchen, in Hope's that someone will help her with the barrels of water.

Krixus awakens to the commotion and smells the smoke in the confusion. Muttering a curse, he puts on his bandoliers of daggers over his leathers that he wears to bed, puts on his boots, and puts his gauntlets on. Grabbing his pack and a blanket to put over his mouth and nose, he heads to his door - feeling it first to see if the fire is outside. He will exit and then head down to the common room. Seeing the need for help, he will grab a barrel of ale, beer, or water to assist in dousing the flames.

Sorrith and Lalora rush back up to their room to retrieve some blankets, then return to dump them into one of the water barrels. They then throw them over some of the smaller fires. Grognak, Ravarie and Reeker find some buckets to dip into the barrels, then run out to throw them onto the larger fires.
For the biggest blaze, Jorrun and Krixus work together to lift up one of the water barrels, carry it out, and then just dump the whole thing on the flames.
It's not long before the fires are all put out, and the entire room is now filled with smoke, but it is starting to filter out of the broken windows. There doesn't appear to be any serious structural damage to the inn, but a couple of tables and several chairs are ruined, and there are black scorch marks on most of the rest of the furniture, including the floor and a couple of walls. The entire front section of the inn is covered in broken glass from the windows.
