In regards to what, specifically? What does he want to know? How it works, it's functions, it"s logistics. Potential blind spots and etc.

Are you talking about the flying citadel, Igor?

It's powered by magic, so I'd say that information on how it functions would be an Arcana check.

Are you talking about the flying citadel, Igor? Yep. Zakkoth was around, so I figured it make sense he would know *something*. Arcana po8R2BcJ1d20+11d20+1

Flying citadels are powered by magic, usually created when a Black Robe and a cleric of Takhisis work together to rip them out of the ground. A single 'sky captain' is capable of piloting one, using a pair of pillars capped with black orbs. The pilot touches the orbs and can direct the citadel in whatever direction they want to go through thought alone.

Before I forget (again), how many potions we got from the lodge?

Well, since we're headed towards a big fight, I was wondering if we could have Inspiration!

Question about the Divination Spell- as mystic- who doesnt worship a god does Zakkoth has to name a specific entity, or will it connect a random divine entity?
And I am not sure what kind of questions can it be used for-
"Will we win the fight against X?"
Or "Where is the mcguffing"?
It's a bit of a costly spell, so I want to make sure I understand how it works.

Asking "Are we going to win the fight?" would not work, unfortunately; since the spell does not take into account circumstances that might change the outcome like the casting of spells (and doubt we won't cast anything against Rezmir) you would not get a truthful answer out of that spell. A better use would be asking about the fight itself, e.g. "What plans Rezmir has if she's attacked in her room?" or something like that.

My understanding is Inspiration doesn't work that way.
As for Divination, if cast by a Mystic, it wouldn't connect to a god. Rather, the information would come from another source. Perhaps it comes from the heart, connecting to the hearts of all other living things. The spell specifies you can ask a single question concerning 'a specific goal, event or activity to occur within 7 days.' However, as the DM is the one actually answering the question, it needs to be something the DM can answer. "Will we win this fight?" is not something I can know; at best, I can guess. But it would only be that, a guess. This would apply to anything that would require rolling dice, as well, as such things are beyond my ability to control and therefore know ahead of time.
"Where is the MacGuffin?" would also not work with this spell, because you're asking for the present location of an object, which has nothing to do with 'a specific goal, event or activity.' I'd say the Divination spell is more about looking into the future (up to a week) than the present. It works best with 'If/Will' questions. "Will the MacGuffin be in the temple during the Solstice ritual?" would be better, because now you are asking about something in the future and a specific event. "If we destroy the MacGuffin, will this stop the Villain's plan?"
So I'd say start each question with either 'Will' or 'If,' basically ask about the future or a hypothetical. And remember it only works up to seven days, must be specific ("Will something bad happen tomorrow?" is way too vague, for instance; happen to who, where, and how bad?) and must be about a goal, event or activity. And it must be something the DM would actually know about (so something like "Will Eliana turn Evil?" wouldn't work, because that would be up to Horizon, not me, so I can't possibly know that.)

My understanding is Inspiration doesn't work that way. Well, Inspiration is usually awarded for good play. Genuine question, have we not do anything since last time we got Inspiration that would warrant it?
