After the others departed, this left Gerrard, Jorrun, Krixus and Grognak behind. But before they all rush out toward the ruins of Khimel to the north, they would first need to make sure they had the supplies and manpower they would need to get there and back in one piece. The four currently sit in the Blue Bird's common room, after having helped fix it up a bit more. Nonna opens the place up for business, keeping a wary eye on any strangers that enter.

After leaving the others back at the inn, Ravarie, Sorrith, Lalora, Reeker, Hunner, Rathis and Kava, board the Sevenstar. They bring Kava down below, into the hold, so she is out of the way of the sailors, and also deposit their gear down there. There are several cots for sleeping, enough for each of them. Soon, the ship pushes off, out to sea. It gently rocks and creaks as it rides the waves into the Bay of Darkness. Their long journey to the elflands has now begun.

"I'm surprised to see you two here," Ravarie says to Hunner and Reeker. "I thought for sure that the two of you would have joined the other group."

Hunner smile. "I gave my word didn't I? If I am looking to regain my honor, backing off from it, would be a bad start.' He paused, thinking what else motivate Hunner to do this. Skirr was sure, all the Dragonarmies would gain pleasure from any harm they can inflict on the elves, especialy because of the cursed Golden Geneal. Oh. "Also, I was soldier of the Golden General, who came and gave us vision and hope when our Order was crumbling. I sort of,feel thankfull toward all the elven kind, if this make any sense.'

"'Golden General,'" Lalora repeats with a derisive snort. "I don't see what was so great about her, to be honest."
Reeker says to Ravarie, "Well, figured have better time on ship than...not on ship. Might stay on, if captain'll have me."

"Golden General ," Ravarie repeats softly before it dawns on her who they are talking about. "Ah. She kind of helped save the world, right?" she asks. "So, that would make her pretty important," she says to Lalora before turning back to Reeker. "More comfortable on a ship," she says with a small smile. "I understand that." She was more comfortable in her forests. "I hope they do keep you on then if that is what you want. Though, I do still feel bad for happened to your ship."

Rathis had spent the early part of the Morning making sure Kava was comfortable in her position in the hold, stroking her and talking softly towards her, before he came out on the deck to look across the sea, leaning on the Railing. It looked very different, sailing across it instead of flying over it. It was... Strangely relaxing, going at the different pace and perspective.

"If you don't understand the Golden General's greatness, I wonder where have you been in the war.' Hunner said. So... the elves didn't liked the Golden General? How curiouse..

Lalora frowns. "'Saved the world' is a bit of an exaggeration, don't you think? She was basically the human's mascot. And then she ran off and married a half-breed. I hear she doesn't even live with her own people anymore, but off in Solamnia now. But what can you expect?" she asks with a shrug. "She's only a Qualinesti. Ask Rathis if you want to know more about her. She's one of his people, after all."
Reeker nods to Ravarie. "Feel more bad for crew. Most probably drown. Or eaten by sharks. Hope some got out alive, like me."
Sorrith adds to Hunner, "During the war, we were busy helping our people migrate to this island, and then build a new home here, after the Red Dragonarmy invaded and were repelled from the Silvanesti kingdom."

"I might," Ravarie says to Lalora. "But I have a question for you. Do you like anyone?" she asks. "You've been nearly hostile with everyone we have come across."

After casting the last of the spells needed to complete the repairs on the Blue Bird (on the Blue Bird itself, ironically), Gerrard walks inside and sits with his new partners. "Well, that's done. Nonna should be fine while we are gone, particularly if she hires some toughs to keep the peace in here like I suggested." He looks around the table at the four men seated with him. "Have each of you made a list of the supplies you need for this journey? We need to gather our gear today. if you have what you need, you are welcome to go with me to the Temple District to seek a fifth person for our party. I would like to leave tomorrow, or the next day at worst."

Hunner is unsure how to react to all that. Sure. It was good news for the dragonarmies and Skirr. But how Hunner would react to such talks about someone he has admired so much, that he has called her daughter in her honor. "Well,it shame her own people are blind, to the Golden General's greatness, and stuck on petty arguments with their own people.' He said, and turned away to look at the waves, wondering if it was a mistake to come here. What obligation did he actually had? ... To the Whitedragonarmy, he has alreary found valuable intel. But what Hunner had here?

Krixus nods at the completion of the repairs. His conscience would not allow him to leave the inn in the state it was as he feels directly responsible for the vandalism even though it was the choices made by those that did it.
Upon joining the group at the table, "How long is the journey? Perhaps our hostess will be kind enough to supply food for the journey? Should we get a cart as I am too large to ride a horse. Also, we may wish to consider hiring a cleric of the good gods to join us?" He lists his gear for the group, "I have a backpack, torches, fifty feet of rope with a grapple, two skins, a couple of large sacks, a crowbar, chalk, flint and steel, a hooded lantern, five flasks of oil, and enough rations to sustain me for two weeks."

"Ooo, Grognak just have armor. And clothes. And some coin. Oh, and this." The half-goblin puts his club on the table. The head is carved to resemble an ogre's face that is twisted in pain and horror. "It really good against ogres," he explains. Jorrun feels a vague sense of unease in the weapon's presence; not something he can really explain.

"The 'Golden General' is not of my people," Lalora says to Hunner. "She is Qualinesti. We are Silvanesti. There's a world of difference." She then says to Ravarie. "Of course I like people. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Princess Alhanna Starbreeze, the leader of all Silvanesti, for example."
