Ladonna believed there was more to the story before they even set off on this little mission. "We'll take turns trying to keep him entertained while we wait for Katya's message. Maybe have Panola keep an eye on Ser Waeland's place?"

Lillian bows and says, "I wish you best of luck." She then goes to give the instruction to Panola, and then to Barone Amodeo, to see what she can do to keep him busy.

When Lillian returns to the barone, she finds that he is alone with his two bodyguards in the common room of the inn. His other two servants are missing.

Ladonna decides to seek out the leader of the council. While they were waiting, it was a good idea to try to get something done while she was here.

Although officially the council does not have a leader, per se, unofficially Sennah Auger has always been deferred to by other council members. Ladonna finds the widow Auger at her pottery shop, sitting behind the counter as usual.
