"Who else is in the running?" Ladonna asks curiously.

Ladonna "Silas Goff, Lantrin Locke, Caerlon Osgood and Judy McIntyre are all being considered currently," Sennah answers.
Lillian The cider is delicious, and a warmth spreads through Lillian's body as she drinks it, and her head feels a bit lighter. "Care for another?" Amodeo asks as he drinks his own glass of wine.
(OOC: It sure is. Lillian is now slightly buzzed. She suffers -1 to INT and WIS and has a 25% of spell failure.)

"What do they bring to the table?" Ladonna asks.

"No, no, I'm now tipsy, and fruther imbibement would be...ill-advised," Lillian answers.

Ladonna "Well, for one thing, they all have jobs here in town that contribute to the well-being of Buho," Sennah answers. "As someone who does not live here anymore or have a job, what would your father bring to the table? How can he speak for the people of Buho if he does not represent them?"
Lillian "What, you give up after one drink?" Amodeo asks, annoyed. "So what, I am supposed to sit here and drink alone then? I thought you were supposed to be 'entertaining' me. Bah, just go up to your room then. I have no need for a light-weight bard with nothing to say."

"Oh, yes, it's just like...what they tell children, about alcohol and peer pressure, and such," Lillian mumbles. "Well, I will go up to my room, so there!" She does so, grumbling to herself.

"Obviously, he would have to move back," Ladonna says. "But his job was to work for the town guard. Considering that he has cleaned himself up, and has managed to get back into shape while in Hart, he could be apart of the town guard again. If anything, he could train the young men that wish to join to protect the town," she explains. "And while Buho is not currently in danger of anything, it is still important for the town to have those to defend it just in case danger does happen upon Buho," she points out. "He is also a good man that had a stroke of bad judgement and bad luck," she adds.

Ladonna "As I'm sure you recall, your father was banned from ever joining the militia again," Sennah reminds her. "The militia still reports to Ser Walls, after all, and it would hardly be appropriate for him to work under her again. Especially taking into consideration what happened last time. No, I'm afraid he'd need to find another job."
Lillian "I will be sure to let Ser Marche know you have failed her yet again!" Amodeo calls after her, before polishing off his wine.

"You're a pleasant man, Amodeo!" Lillian calls back. "...and what do you mean, 'again?'"

"I am, of course, referring to the 'contract' business," Amodeo responds casually, ordering another wine.

Lillian loudly "pfffts." "That didn't cause any trouble for her except that she would choose to involve herself in. I. Made. Progress. At an immeasurable personal cost, but progress."

"Hopefully, Ser Marche agrees," Amodeo says casually with a shrug.

"Yes, I hope so too!" Lillian says. Before pausing. "I'm not sure she's actually my friend, you know. That is to say, I consider her a friend, but I'm...not so sure it's reciprocated. If that makes any sense."

"She is your friend? I had assumed, based on your dynamic, that you were her servant," Amodeo responds.
