"He could have something as simple as a journal," Ladonna says. At the very least, she might be able to learn where he is, but she didn't want to say that to them since they were convinced that he was innocent. They were his parents, so it made sense that they would want to defend him.

"I would be impressed if you found a journal," says Drundor, "as Jherek can't read or write."
"Alright, but I'm coming with you," Thessila says. "To make sure you aren't trying to plant evidence or something else fishy."

On further consideration, Lillian decides it would be a bad idea to crash Finbul's family reunion while tipsy. She instead looks for a quite place to sit outside and get some fresh air.

Probably the quietest place Lillian could go outside would be the cemetery to the north of town. It's usually deserted, unless there's a holiday or someone died recently, and as far as she knows, neither is the case currently. Nobody will bother her there.

Lillian finds the cemetery and rests under a tree--presuming she can kind one. Nice and quiet.

"I wouldn't plant evidence," Ladonna says with a shake of her head. "But lead the way."

Ladonna "If you're working for that foreign crook, there's no telling what you're capable of," Thessila says. She leads Ladonna to their home, a small two-bedroom on the poorer side of town. The entire place reeks of meat and blood, although Thessila doesn't seem to notice. Jherek's room is a mess. In one corner is a cot covered in dirty clothes. In another is a weapons rack, holding various axes and butcher's knives. In another corner is an old chest, locked up. And in the final corner is an old dresser with a pile of clothes in front of it.
Lillian There is a large tree on the western side of the cemetery, and it even has a stone bench set up at its base, specifically for sitting.

Lillian sits on the bench, and rests. For now.

"He, uh, didn't really keep this place clean, did he?" Ladonna asks. She walks over to the desk, and starts looking around for anything that could possibly be important, such as a key for the chest.

Ladonna looks around in the small room for a desk, but there isn't one here.

"Is there a key for that chest over there?" Ladonna asks.

"If there is, I don't know where it is," Thessila admits. "Maybe Jherek has it."

"You said that he was here weeks ago?" Ladonna asks as she shuffles through the clothes on the floor and bed.

The clothes appear to all be dirty and with a slight odor to them. But she finds no keys among them. "That's right," Thessila confirms, watching her carefully.

"That fits with when Damon and his group took down the Wyld Boys," Ladonna says as she looks over the lock on the chest. She doesn't know anything about lock picking, but she wonders if she can find a way to break it.
