"Then signal that we agree to the terms, and once they let their guard down, fire," Kalana says.

Senllip tries to keep track on all the contradicting signals but at the end he understands that he should keep shooting and that's what he want to do as he also thought that the dreadnaught is pretty damaged and that they are really thick headed arrogants to demand the fleet surrender. "Err... I believe Kalana is planning something. She signaled us to keep fire, and then that we agree to their terms. It is weird. She usually fight to the death... and usually it is the death of her enemies." Senllip grins. "So be ready to shoot this Thetys of the water surface once you see the battle goes on." he says angrily hoping lady luck will smile at them and change the tide in their benefit.
======================================================= (OOC: I changed the post since I'm not sure what do you plan. You wrote you signal to continue fire, then you signaled you agree to the terms, but if the Diamond will continue firing it will ruin your 'Surprise'. And the dreadnaught got many hits... Anyway, the minute we see a hint that battle goes on we keep shooting with all we have at the correct ranges and hope we can take few more hits... if we can use cannons as well as the balista please do, otherwise continue with the balista and crossbows.)

Brax "Looks like we're being given tha signal to keep attackin'. So be it." the dwarf says with grim determination. Pacing around deck before his crew "I know it looks bad, but our admiral wants us ta keep on fightin' Lets give it our all lads. I dun want nobody ta die, but I'm guessin it'd be better ta die fightin than end up a slave."

Once the Dreadnought is close enough, the Bluemoon's cannon is fired. As the thunderous roar of the weapon echoes forth, two things happen simultaneously.
The first is the cannonball strikes the main deck of the Dreadnought, and either through good aim, dumb luck or the grace of the gods, manages to ignite the gunpowder there, causing a massive explosion and setting the ship ablaze.
The second is that the recoil from the cannon's fire tears apart what little structural integrity the sinking Bluemoon still had left. The heel cracks and the entire ship splits down the middle in two. The aft half sinks immediately, while the fore side tilts dangerously upward and starts sinking more slowly. The main mast falls over, splashing into the water. Most of the crew are dropped into the drink, although Kalana manages to remain on the fore side and grab the railing to avoid being throw overboard.
(At this point, the Blue Diamond is still several minutes out from being in cannon range.)

"Abandon ship!" Kalana says to her crew. "Get to the Seleya if you can." She will wait for as long as she can, to make sure her crew gets to relative safety before she'll jump into the waters.

Brax "Signal Bayla if ya can, I think we can at tha very least fit Bayla on board maybe up in tha crows nest. An no I ain't bein' punny." then trying to see how far out they are to determine if dropping a line for them would help any. "That was a brilliant show there, what kinda luck would it be ta blow their boat up?"

Those among Kalana's crew who can actually swim do their best to stay afloat, although those who cannot either scramble to find a piece of floating debris to cling onto or just sink into the deep helplessly. Eventually the rest of the Bluemoon sinks, and Kalana has to fight furiously to stay afloat as the suction of the sinking ship tries to pull her under.
It still takes several minutes for the Seleya to reach the wreckage and start fishing out those they can. Kalana, Bayla and Auli'i make it, but there are a few who do not.
In the end, the battle to liberate Shadowshore is won. But at tremendous cost, as neither the Lleiset or the Tiaru made it. The final remnants of the Blue Lighting are gone for good. Which means should Gunn rebuild their fleet some day to try again, there will be no resistance to stand in their way. But that is a worry for another day.
The three surviving ships--the Seleya, the Blue Diamond and the Salty Dwarf, limp into the harbor and dock. The party learns that the people of Shadowshore, inspired by the fleet's desperate last stand, rebelled against their oppressors and they were the ones who burned down the other ships. The party are hailed as heroes and a massive celebration is thrown in their honor.
The party's days of high seas adventures come to a close, at least for now. The Bluemoon is gone, and the two cargo ships are so badly damaged it would be cheaper to just decommission them and buy new, better ships at this point. Kalana is finally welcomed back home, forgiven even by her family, and Brax and Senllip are offered a home there, as well, should they accept. Even if they don't, it will take months to repair their ships or build new ones, so they'll likely be there for awhile, at least.
THE END.
