Zencho laugh a bit. "I would never imagine to eat ants! I must to try it!" "Okay, another order of cinnamon fried honey ants," the waitress says, jotting it down. Chispa tries to keep her face straight while listening to the team mates. Thankfully the waitress helped by jumping in. "Hello. Could you please recommend on your specialty?" Chispa asks, not sure what to expect in such versatile location. The waitress pauses a moment, pondering the question. "Well...I guess that depends on who you ask. Our specialty is food based on the four elements; or that's the gimmick, anyway. So I guess it depends which element you like best. Ya know what? Let me grab you a menu real quick." She moves off to a small podium at the entrance and grabs a paper menu and brings it back for the table to read. It reads as follows: StartersFire buns to share - 5 SP Bread with pickled sea grass chutney - 2 SP A selection of raw crudités - 2 SP Main DishesElemental Plate of Fire (mixed vegetarian grill with a hot chili sauce) - 5 SP Elemental Plate of Water (hearty pozole soup with toasted seaweed) - 5 SP Elemental Plate of Air (light and airy egg soufflé) - 3 SP Elemental Plate of Earth (root vegetable dumplings in an onion gravy ) - 6 SP DessertsMarshmallow cloud pudding - 3 SP Cinnamon fried honey ants - 3 SP DrinksDawn Eternal (cactus-juice-based non-alcoholic mixed drink) - 1 SP Diamond Light (clear cocktail served with color-changing ice cubes) - 2 SP Ancestors' Preserve craft beer - 5 CP Aged Ataguan rum - 7 SP Ale, tankard - 4 CP Cider, tankard - 4 CP "Do you have any spicy rice cakes?" Ha-Yun asks. "And I think we are paying separately." "Afraid not, but I can suggest it to the chef to be added to the menu later on," the waitress says. "If you're looking for spicy, though, the fire buns and the Elemental Plate of Fire have a pretty good kick to them." |

"Yeah, I just thought to order the Fire buns to share, so Ha-Yun you can have a taste from the plate. And please also a selection of crudities and the main dish... hmmm... Maybe not spicy if the starters are... Earth plate." Chispa smiles and returns the menu to the waitress. "And I liked the elemental concept. Ammusing."
Quickly Chispa lose interest in the diets and looks around to other tables, her thoughts drifting. "Oh.. I forgot the drinks and desert. How is your craft beer? And please bring me Marshmallow. Thanks." She looks at the team a bit but again, quickly start wondering...

The waitress quickly jots everything down. "So cinnamon fried honey ants and the earth plate--no worries, totally meatless--for the charming elf; cinnamon fried honey ants for the handsome tiefling; fire buns, crudités, the earth plate, a craft beer and the pudding for the cute dwarf; and the fire plate for the pretty human. Anything else?" She looks to Livana. "You want anything, sweetness?"
After getting everyone's orders, she says, "Alright, be back in two shakes in a chaggrin's tail." She then heads off into the kitchen.
Chispa looks around while they wait. There are a number of other people around, enjoying their own meals and conversations. A family of kobolds seem to be celebrating a child's birthday. An alseid and a halfling seem to be discussing some kind of business transaction. A beautiful aasimar woman seems to be entertaining half a dozen suitors and admirers. A goliath and a firbolg appear to be on some kind of awkward date. A quartet of young women (halfling, genasi, bugbear and kenku) seem to be having a girls' night out. A lone gnome sits at the bar, drinking from a glass way too large for one of his size. A red dragonborn sits at the bar, as well, complaining about the food. Finally, an orc sits in the corner, alone, hood up and watches others while drinking but otherwise keeps to themselves.

and aged ataguan rum.
"Handsome. Have you heard it? She called me handsome!" he chuckle with sarcastic pride.
"Thank you." he add
he nod to the others
"Aha."
He nodded, clearly distracted by the aaismar woman.

"What parts of the Discal typically have trouble, are there political influences that cause different groups in the Discal to not get along, is there any sort of power structure -official or unofficial-, who's got good wood, is there anyone commonly feared, are there any particular valuable shipments or trades scheduled soon, does anyone view the Shieldbearers negatively, are there any organized criminal enterprises and if so who leads them, in cases of emergencies -medical, safety, legal- what do people do/who do people call, do emergencies occur often, anything else that seems useful. I haven't been here long, but people calling this a 'collaborative society and ecological beauty' what seems near utopian does not tell me that it lacks snakes and termites. The existence of the Shieldbearers here proves the contrary: there are dangers here."

Livana would have ordered the Elemental Plate of Air and definitely asked if they had any drinks (or anything for that matter) made with the Jeli Flower. If not, suggesting it could be a new hit.
"Those are really good thoughts on what to keep a look out for. That's why you're so good at what you do!" She notes at Vulpi's list.

The waitress returns with the appetizers (the fire buns and crudités) as well as any drinks. "Here you go, and I'll be out with the rest as soon as they're ready."
At Livana's question, she answers, "Like Jelli wine? Oh, yeah, we carried it for a little bit, but it was so expensive nobody ever ordered it. It's like twenty five gold pieces for a single glass. I think we might have a bottle or two still in the back somewhere, if you're interested."

"Oh, I don't think I have enough for that then. Back home, being so much more abundant it's a lot cheaper." She hadn't considered the cost of export since Zinda is the only place with the Jeli Flower.

"Oh, for sure," the waitress says. "I envy the folks who can actually grow the stuff on their own. They must be rich as kings, right? Anyway, be right back with the rest of your food." She then departs back to the kitchen.
