The guard seems to think this over, and appears to buy it at least for the moment. "Alright. But a stoning? Haven't had one of those in awhile. It'll draw a large crowd. You'll need backup to keep people at a safe distance. I'll send another unit with you."

"Good thinking. We'll drag her through town to raise awareness and head back to the centre and do it there. Everyone should enjoy that." Terani says, hoping to keep any from following their group and explain their movements in one.

"A full parade?" The guard thinks that over. "Not a bad idea. But we'll need to get the mayor's approval. And we should hold off. The prince will be here soon. Better to hold it then, as it will add to the festivities, as well as show the prince that we don't tolerate heretics."

Kalinda frowns as she continues ti listen to the conversation. Clearly she wasn't liking how excited the other guard was getting.

"Good idea. Maybe we'll take this one on a procession. Get people excited ready for it. She'll then be able to tell the others how they're going to face the entire town in their humiliating death. Hehe!" He offers back.

"That could be fun, but hold on a sec...she's not even tied up. If you take her outside, she'll try and bolt," the guard points out. He says something to another guard in Raven Call, and that guard grabs a coil of rope and approaches.

"Good point." Terani steps forwards to take the rope, then coming before Kalinda to tie them. "Arms %&#@!" He barks, but hopes by the look in his eyes that she can keep trusting him that little longer.

Kalinda has no clue what he just barked at her, and she certainly doesn't look too pleased. She quickly decides that this isn't going to go in her favor, she takes note of how far away from the door she is. She was going to have to make a run for it. She could find the others once she was out of here.
She narrows her eyes at her "captive" and quickly smacks him across the face before she makes a run for the exit.

Kalinda smacks Terani and then bolts away. The guards are so stunned by this move, she makes it 15 feet to the door and then another 65 feet onto the streets before any can react. The guard Terani had been speaking to snaps out of it first, screaming something at Terani in Raven Call, then shouting to the others. All six guards rush outside to try and find her. The lead one blows on a horn, loud enough to be heard some distance away.

"Ouch." That was... Not what he had expected. Probably no less than he deserved. "Ideas anyone? Do we treat this as being able to make a break for it with a nice diversion or try and figure a way to help her such as going out there and starting a fight with the whole town?"

Not spotting anything of interest on the way out, Terani and the others exit the barracks and under the pretense of finding the escaped criminal, make their way toward the edge of town. As they are dressed as guards, nobody stops them in any way.

Assuming Kalinda made a dash for it to the edge of town before the others, she finds a safe place to hide until the others show up.

Kalinda dashes about town, disappearing into shadows when she can, to avoid patrols. Eventually she makes her way to the south edge of town, meeting up with the others.
