Nope, not familiar with it. I'm guessing it's a TV show?

Nope, not familiar with it. I'm guessing it's a TV show? Yeah, it's from the creators of the Clone Wars; it's a Star Wars show that focuses on a small band of Rebels between Episodes III and IV, showing how the Rebel Alliance organized. My little brother loves that show, so I end up seeing it a lot. Compared to the Clone Wars, it's on a much smaller scale and with much simpler morality, but it's still a fun little Star Wars cartoon. It has a lot of guest stars from the greater Star Wars universe--Leia and the C-3PO/R2 team each get an episode, Lando makes a couple appearances, Hondo stars in a few episodes, and Ashoka and Rex are main characters for a season or two. Plus, it also introduced the Inquisitors, who have major roles in Fallen Order and the Obi-Wan show.

Anyone else watch DC Legends? I'm almost done with the current season and dying to talk about it with someone lol I'm afraid the only DC show I ever watched was Supergirl, and now Superman and Lois. She's really big into Star Wars. I was always more of a Trekkie, though.

She's probably seen it, then--it started airing back in 2014. It ended 4 years ago.

Most likely then, yeah. It's a shame I've never been able to persuade her to swing by the forums. You two would probably have a lot to talk about.

So two episodes of Moon Knight are out now, has anyone else seen them yet? What do you think?

I've seen them both. I even though many say I am wrong. Feel like it follows what I remember from the comics and graphic novels I read of Moon Knight though it is a bit more "trippy" with how they don't exactly explain why he is Steven then Mark. I personally like it even though I've seen a lot in marvel groups complain about it.

Yeah, I'm guessing they'll explain how the whole split-personality thing works in an upcoming episode.
I'm enjoying it, too, although I'm not at all familiar with the character myself. I like how they are using the more obscure Egyptian gods so far, like Khonsu and Ammit.

If I am getting my facts straight, MoonKnight was always based on Egyptian gods. I didn't even find or get into the character until I was in my mid 20's. So it's been a minute since I read the comics/graphic novels. So my facts might be off. But he was supposed to have been on an archeology dig and found a scarab that gave him his powers. Beyond that I kind of forget exactly why he had multiple personalities unless it was to protect himself. But I vaguely remember something about I'm Steve now I'm Mark, types of things.

I imagine they'll probably change a few things from the comics anyway, to better fit in with the MCU lore; if they haven't already.
One thing I like so far is how they are handling mental illness. I was struck in particular by a line in the second episode: "I'm not broken, I just need help sometimes." That one really resonated with me.

Yes, I appreciate that as they aren't making it out to be looked at from a better light or perspective. Well at least that is my understanding of it.
