Wow, wasn't expecting this. An animated adaptation of Dragon Age, done in Castlevania style? Sign me up.

It does look pretty cool! It also looks like it'll be its own story, rather than adapting one of the games. I don't recognize anyone, at least.

Yeah, I'm guessing it might be meant to help set up the new game a bit, like Tevinter Nights.

Funny I mentioned Castlevania earlier, because we're getting a new show from that, as well. Looks like we're skipping ahead 300 years to Trevor's distant descendant, Richter Belmont during the French Revolution.

Ooh, Richter! the Smash Bros guy He's really been designated as the second most famous Belmont, despite having such a small role in the series. It's the opening of Symphony of the Night, I tell ya!

I'm almost certain he's going to say the thing at some point. The question is whether it will be played straight or as some kind of joke.

Funny though as Community was also on Netflix streaming pretty sure that is where I rewatched it a few months ago and I don't think it had that D&D episode either. I think all the e streaming sites pulled this episode away because of the black face? I am not american, and I dont fully understand the context, but it didnt seemed to encourage such behavior?

Let's just say you are probably right. America is a bit overly politically correct, but I can understand why they pulled it. But why they let it air in the first place just shows we were in a different time. But anyway.

Keep in mind, this happened shortly after the George Floyd protests started. Several episodes of old shows were pulled on various streaming services, including Scrubs and The Office, at around the same time, too. In all likelihood, it was an overreaction. But with the political climate at the time, the streaming services probably just felt 'better safe than sorry.' This sort of thing is actually pretty common in the States. Back in '99, there was an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer that was pulled because of the Columbine shootings ('Earshot') because it featured a kid taking a sniper rifle up into the campus bell tower (although he was going to use it to shoot himself, but again, 'better safe than sorry'). I remember more recently, an early episode of Supergirl got pulled because it featured a building blowing up and there had been a recent bombing in France. What made the Community one stand out is that it was for a show that was already over with, the episode was pulled from the streaming services instead.

Have any of you guys been keeping up with Kenobi? I just watched the season finale. The first half was really subpar, but the last three episodes were incredible. And I was so happy when Obi-Wan called Vader "Darth" at the end!

I haven't seen it, but I've heard some mixed reviews on it. And I don't mean, 'different people are saying different things' but like, the same people flipping wildly on their feelings on it. One week, it's an incredible show, and the next week, it's pure garbage, then the week after that, it's the best again. Sounds like a bit of a roller-coaster.

I had that experience, too. The first three episodes were kind of bad, but episode 4 was good, and the last two were incredible.

I have been watching Obi-Wan I think I only haven't seen the finale episode. I like it. But I like a lot of shows and movies that are massively written off as terrible by others. So I never know it if is just me that likes it or not.
