Should we throw initiative?

Yup! I’ll take some time to draw up a battle map.

Well, it's been over two weeks since Ezeze posted. She seems to have lost interest. Can't say I blame her... I'm not really enjoying the game either, and Past Glory is starting soon... Daos, would you be OK if I just ended the game here?

I think it's probably more likely that Ezeze just forgot to post, but I don't want to speak for her.
Regardless, if you aren't interested in continuing, there's little point in forcing it. I know that one from personal experience all too well.

Yeah; I kind of ran down near the end. I think not having a proper plan helped with that. So, did I have a negative experience? Eh, it was a mix of both. It was good to try something new, if primarily to discover that I’m not the best at DMing, and that I don’t really enjoy it, to boot. I’m glad you and Ezeze were able to go on this (albeit fairly short) journey with me, but I’ll leave the Game Running to you, for now.

Eh, I wasn't the best at DMing on my first time, either. In fact, I was pretty terrible at it. I didn't know what I was doing. When I first discovered D&D, I had a few friends who played it, but none would DM for me, so I started off as the DM instead of a player first. They took advantage of my lack of experience and overall ignorance of the rules to get away with a lot of stuff. I was around 13 at the time, so I just jammed my campaign world (I had no idea pre-published settings even existed, never mind modules) with whatever I was into at the time, including anime, video games and what have you. It was such a big mess.
The vast majority of games I ran fell apart early on. But every time I tried, I learned a few new things and would work to not repeat those mistakes the next time. And slowly, my games started getting better. I'm sure you can already think of things you would have done differently, like having a plan as you mentioned before.

Oh! Apparently the site just ate my post I had a post typed up where Bayla went "yeah, light whatever fire you need" more gruffly than normal and was in general really irritated at everything after being forced to walk a few hours wounded - but apparently it got lost somewhere between "Create Post" and actually being uploaded? I'll re-create it as best I can! Sorry, guys! I didn't realize you were waiting for me because I thought I posted! Edit: I've put up that post, in case you want to continue going. If you don't, though, that's also ok! I am invested enough to want to know what was actually going on though at least tell us?

Well, I'm glad you're interested, Ezeze. In all honesty, I've actually still not fully figured out what is going on, but I'll give it a shot.
