Jaeron looks around the area, but doesn't see anyone taking a particular interest in them.

~So far so good,~ Kalana thinks to herself as she proceeds inside. This wasn't exactly what she had planned as she wanted the guards to inform their leader, but this worked as well.

(OOC: From their acquaintance is Athel a spell caster? If not I assume the potions will be the only ones they will buy here. Athel will pay to get the discount and Senllip will return half.
Is it possible to buy magical weapon / other potions and scrolls that everyone can use in the city? At the mages guild?
I think next step is to get at least invisibility potion and then go scout the ship area.)

Kalana, Jaeron, and Johannas (Crimson Oars Warehouse)Stepping inside, the group finds a large, mostly empty warehouse, aside from a handful of empty crates of various sizes. In the center are a table and a few chairs, where some people are playing cards.
There are six people here, altogether. They are a male air-touched genasi wearing robes and carrying a staff, a female elf in leathers with a light crossbow, a female elf in leathers with a pair of short swords, a female elf in leathers with a flail, and a male half-elf in chain mail with a great sword on his back. There is also a female human sitting in his lap. She has a busted lip and holds perfectly still, despite the interruption.
"Well, well," the half-elf says. "I don't recall any visitors having an appointment this evening. Kind of rude, isn't it? Just bursting into a private place of business?" he asks.
Senllip (Midnight Brawlers Base)Athel chuckles. "Of course, you did. Fine, we'll use my discount." The purchases are made, and the two head out. "Where next, to the ship itself?"
(OOC: Athel is a thief, like Senllip; he has no spellcasting abilities. And yes, it is possible to buy other magical items at the mage guildhall.
So he's buying both potions or just one of them? I wasn't clear on that. Also note, that Senllip does already have a potion of invisibility in his inventory.)

Kalana looks to Jaeron for a moment, as she isn't sure what he is doing. "Your guards were kind enough to allow us inside without an invitation," Kalana says. "I am assuming you are the leader of this group?"

(OOC: Both potions. Can you tell me how many doses are in each and for how long such dose works?
If going to the mage guild is a short action then Senllip would like to get a magical weapon if the budget will allow it. To be on the safe side. Otherwise straight to the ship.

The half-elf chuckles. "I'm the leader, yes. You want to barter then?" He pulls out a knife and gently runs the tip over the woman in his lap's neck, not breaking the skin. She holds perfectly still, giving a barely perceptible whimper. "I don't know, I'm rather fond of this prize. But if you are offering something better in value, I might consider it. How about five hundred gold pieces? That seems fair."
Senllip (Midnight Brawlers Base)"Okay, let's make a quick stop to the Thundergulls' guildhouse before we go in," Athel recommends, as he hands Senllip the two potions.

(OOC: The Potion of Levitation works just like the one Senllip already has. One dose, and it works like the 2nd level spell, allowing up to 600 lbs to be levitated. The Potion of Human Control works like a mass Charm Person spell. You can charm up to 32 HD worth of humans and it lasts 5d6 rounds, one dose. All victims get a normal saving throw. It only works on humans.
What sort of magic weapon do you want to try and buy? A simple +1 weapon costs 2,000 GP. Will that work?)

Kalana considers her options at this point. They were just playing cards, so she could offer to gamble for the girl, but she doesn't quite know what to offer up if she loses. She could outright attack these people, but they don't look like weaklings (and they are outnumbered). She could try to pay the original amount of gold that he asked for. Finally, she could name drop again and see where that gets her, but the leader doesn't seem easily intimidated. "Well boys," Kalana says, looking to Jaeron and Johannas. "You have yet to weigh in here."

“I do have an idea,” Johannes whispers to the group. “Sir,” he says audibly as he casts Charm Person on the head theif. “We are no nobles, with many riches to spare. However, if you would grant us some goodwill, I feel that this very rare, antique spyglass [He places it on the table] is an appropriate compensation.”
