The child is a little elven girl, perhaps around 8 years old by human standards, which probably means she's actually older than most of them, aside from Gotrek. She has light brown skin, dark brown hair, and big brown eyes. She does not appear to be seriously injured, aside from a couple of scrapes and bruises.
"I'm Lorarel," she says in the Common tongue. "My uncle was taking me to see my parents in Waterdeep, when the wolves ran the wagon off the road."

Orianna glances around and silently makes the assumption that the body that one of the wolves was munching on was the little girl's uncle. "Do you have family there?" she asks.

"My parents are there," the girl explains again, nodding.
"We are our on our way to Phandalin," Zoya says. "We can escort you as far as there, at least, and perhaps arrange to get you the rest of the way once there."

"We might not be able to escort you all the way to Waterdeep, but we will do what we can to get you on your way to see your parents," Orianna says.

"Okay," Lorarel says. She looks a little nervous around the group, but she has little choice but to go with them.
"Here, lass, stay close to me," Gotrek offers. "I'll keep any wolves or monsters away."
"Well then, I suppose we should move on," Zoya adds. "It will still be another day or two before we reach Phandalin."

Orianna nods in agreement, and takes the lead so she can kind of keep an eye on things to make sure they aren't walking into danger.

Fortunately, the party faces no further trouble on the way back to town. They make camp that night, then travel all day the following day, making camp again. The day after that, at around mid-afternoon, they arrive back in Phandalin. The weather has cleared up, so it is no longer raining or snowing, although the temperature is still quite low despite the spring equinox being only two days away.
The town does not look any different than when they left it. "First things first," Zoya comments. "We should report in to let our employers know we finished those three jobs."

Zoya says to Orianna, "Getting her to Waterdeep will cost money, and we will need to get paid first anyway."
"They're in Waterdeep," the child reminds Bareris.

Orianna nods. "Let's get that taken care of then. We also need to find information on that castle."

"Where should we begin?" asks Zoya. "The orchard, the temple, or the townhall?"
