Is there even enough dry vegetation that Ravarie can entangle it with?

As the name 'Wasteland' suggests, it's mostly just desert sand. There are a few cacti here and there, but no, nothing like grass, trees or shrubs.

Are Kori and her remaining ants taking any actions this round?

No, I don't think so.

You know, Kori could go stabilize Grubnick. She doesn't have to concentrate on her ants.

All right, I'll go do that.

Did I do that right? 2d8 +1 per level? You might be thinking of Cure Serious Wounds, which is 2d8+1. Cure Moderate Wounds is only 1d10+1.

Are there any crevices, narrow spaces or low ceiling areas party members can retreat to within the cave that it appears the large attackers would not be able to follow/ reach into?

It's a big cave and they are big creatures, so that seems a reasonable possibility to me. Not sure to what end it serves the party, though.

If the party can take cover in an area where the creature's can't go they can rest, heal up and possibly find some way to survive this encounter despite the way it seems to be going at the moment...

It's not ideal, but yeah, at this point, it probably is your best shot.

So we came dangerous close to a TPK there. And in doing so, it dawned on me that, if we had TPK'd, I would have nothing to replace this game with. Not even an idea.
This led me to decide we should choose the next game after this now, so I can start working on it in the background. That way, if we TPK later--or even if we don't--I have something to go with after it's over.
I'll put a list together of some possible options, but in the meantime, does anyone remaining have a pitch they'd like to make? If so, let me know, and I'll add it to the list.

Nothing, huh? Okay, well here are my five pitches.
Solamnia During the Age of Despair, the upheaval in Solamnia led to the fall of a number of Solamnic castles. One such castle, Castle di Agrasoff, fell to a peasant revolt in the early years. Lord di Agrasoff and his family were killed down to the last child. Now the ruins of Castle di Agrasoff are said to be haunted by the murdered noble and his family. The family fortune of the di Agrasoff's has yet to be discovered. Can the party reclaim the castle and its treasures for themselves?
Khur A wealthy band of Khurish merchants known as the Scorpion Trade Exchange have recently found a buyer in the mountains of Northern Khur for some very interesting goods. The interested party is looking to obtain three golden sarcophagi at a very steep price. The merchant lords are looking to hire mercenaries that can guard the merchandise during shipment. The party, of course, are these mercenaries. But things are not always what they appear--and this simple job may wind up having some unexpected complications.
Taladas Little is known about the northern continent of Krynn, Taladas, even among the hardcore Dragonlance fans. My idea is the party are a group of Ansalonian prisoners on a ship taking them to a prison on the Blood Sea Isles. But a storm blows them way off course and they crash land on Taladas, and are now forced to make it their home and need to explore and learn more about this new land. This way the players don't need to be experts on the lore, and can learn alongside their characters.
Adlatum Even less is known about the distant continent of Adlatum, but the concept is pretty similar to above. The party are a group of refugees fleeing war who are accidentally teleported to another continent, and now must learn about their new home and try to survive there.
Krynnspace The Chaos War ravages the planet. A small group manage to steal a gnomish spelljammer and escape into space in hopes of survival. Imagine their surprise when the entire world just vanishes! Now they are marooned in space and must find a new settlement. Again, like the other two, a sort of fish out of water story to explore a new land (or solar system, in this case). Technically this is a Spelljammer game, but it's limited only in Krynnspace and the various worlds found within.
