no problems I'm just saying if you end up waiting on me there are a couple days or so where I likely won't be posting at all. Due to mostly hauling stuff out of the house to a storage space we had to rent, and downsizing out stuff. Plus the usual weekly grocery shopping usually I don't get to do any posting anywhere on that day. I also tend to not usually post on weekends all the time. So long as once a day with the 2-3 days of potentially nothing is fine we are good.

Brax takes a look at the papers in dwarven and reads them aloud. Okay, seeing as how Brax does not have proficiency in reading/writing, I suppose make an INT check to see if he recognizes any of the specific words from memory?

Hi, I'm back. I'll take today to catch up.
GreyWolf - Congrats on the new apartment.
OK, so while reading here is a list of questions and comments: 1. If two weeks has past and now we go after the Tiaru, does it mean that after this chapter, for the thieves guild business we will play back in time (these two weeks)? 2. Why do we still go for the Tiaru? It was the first goal once we fell off it's board, but now that we have our own ship I thought we kinda stepped forward. Do we plan to join the fleet with our own ship? Our ship barely scratch the minimum level of ships, so to be part of the fleet I assume it needs a lot of upgrades. Will the blue thunder (I think that was the name) enterprise help with that? 3. Speaking of uprades, and as Donato observed, we lack of weapons. Maybe the next upgrade, we need to add some kind of weapon fit to the ship size to the blue moon. Is cannon fit? 4. Is it possible to add the NPCs to the stats page? It will be easier to refer to them if we have some reminder who is there and what races are them. (At least for me with my poor memory it will help). 5. OK... read it. Is there a way Senllip can join the group? Swim? Another rowboat?
Thanks

1. If two weeks has past and now we go after the Tiaru, does it mean that after this chapter, for the thieves guild business we will play back in time (these two weeks)? Sure, if you guys want to head back later, it should be ready by then. Well, it was really Horizon's decision. You weren't here and Greywolf didn't care, so she made the choice. She can explain her own reasoning, if she likes, but I believe her intent is to get the Tiaru's aid with Shadowshore's defense. 3. Speaking of uprades, and as Donato observed, we lack of weapons. Maybe the next upgrade, we need to add some kind of weapon fit to the ship size to the blue moon. Is cannon fit? Yes, that's possible. Artillery can be installed at a cost to cargo capacity. That is, the more weapons on the ship, the less cargo it can carry. There are a number of options including ballista (light, medium and heavy), catapults (light, medium and heavy), alchemist fire projectors, and cannons. Cannons are probably the best, but also by far the most expensive (about 6,000 GP a pop). You can also buy some bows or crossbows and equip them to your marines to use in battle. 4. Is it possible to add the NPCs to the stats page? It will be easier to refer to them if we have some reminder who is there and what races are them. (At least for me with my poor memory it will help). Adding them to the Stats page is a bit impractical, as most of them don't have stats (they are simple, level 0 characters) and once the crew gets large enough, it will really clutter things up. I can, however, create a new page in the Places and People thread that lists them, though. EDIT: Here you go. 5. OK... read it. Is there a way Senllip can join the group? Swim? Another rowboat? There's only one rowboat, but yeah, he can swim easily. Especially with his magic cloak.

GreyWolf - Oh sorry. I thought you have found one...
Daos - thanks for the page of the blue moon people. It's great!
I assume that is Senllip goes to the others, then Donato will be loyal enough to be left in charge and the recruits won't "steal" the ship. And also the ship can't be operated with six people, right? So, Senllip will swim and join the others.

Actually, the bare minimum skeleton crew is four people. A ship on a skeleton crew isn't as fast or maneuverable, but it can still sail. It needs at least eight people to not be considered a skeleton crew.

No worries Bishgada. I have a temporary solution that just came about yesterday so I at least have a place to get through the winter.

Yeah, the reasoning behind going after the Tiaru is because she needs their help in defense of Shadowshore. She hasn't exactly explained all of that to the crew, but then again no one has really asked either. She's the captain after all. Eventually, she will tell the crew about her plans, but right now they only need to know that they are going after the Tiaru.

Just how far up the cropping is she going to climb? To the very top? About how close does she get to the singer?

Hmm, I would say she would probably be somewhere near the middle of the second staircase, which is about 50 or so feet from the singer. She is probably shouting a little bit to ask who she is.

Hi, quick-simple brainstorm. I'm not posting in-game since from the post Daos wrote I'm not sure if we all aware that we are close to Shadowshore or only Kalana and Bayla.
So anyhow, what is exactly planned for Shadowshore? Is it just checking on? sending message? How far are we from the scrags?
the reason I ask is: if we want to stop now, Moiroloi will get angry and try to take over the ship. if the task is relatively simple and quick, maybe Bayla can fly and do it (in case it doesn't endanger her). if the scrags are close we can deal with them first and then go for Shadowshore for longer period (I still hope we will play retroactive and help Athel and the thieves guild).
What do you think?

Just for the record, HorizonsDream tends not to read the OOC threads so you have to tag her if you want her to see your post.

Kalana is only checking on Shadowshore from a distance. There is no stopping there, sending a message, or anything like that. She is just getting a quick glimpse as to what might be going on.
