That is exactly what happened, though. The party heard beautiful singing and their reaction was to cover their ears. I guess that's just an occupational hazard of the game. In another game, I had the party come across a pair of attractive young women, twins, who were very flirty toward the male party members. Everyone immediately assumed they were monsters in disguise, bandits setting a trap, or con-artists hoping to pick some pockets. The same thing happens in any game where the party enters a room with statues or skeletons--they just assume they're going to jump to life and attack at some point. Anyway, everyone let me know of any shopping you want to do while in Marit.

mostly just replenishing any supplies used while on the little adventure here other than that if there is anything interesting maybe....but most specifically for Brax would be restocking his ammo and powder. If anyone maybe has some of those bullets of fire that would be greatly of interest.

Regular bullets cost 1 GP each, while the black powder doses cost 10 GP each.
Fire bullets cost 25 GP each.

Alright. He has the coin for it so might as well buy 48 fire bullets that should take a fairly decent chunk of his money. Looks like one powder horn has 6 doses the other 4 and the third is empty, how many do they normally hold because I was just thinking I'd refill them. He will buy another 33 regular bullets as well.

A powder horn can hold up to 10 doses of black powder.
So 48 fire bullets comes to 1,200 GP, 33 bullets comes to 33 GP and 20 black powder doses costs 200 GP, so a full total of 1,433 GP.
(Also do note that a bullet cannot be fired without a dose of black powder. So if he has 30 doses of black powder, he can fire 30 bullets, max. Also note he already has 15 bullets, 15 fire bullets, 20 ice bullets, 20 lightning bullets, and 10 bullets +1 on him.)
Secondly, was he planning on selling the cargo ship? If he plans to keep it, he'll need to buy supplies and hire crewmen, too. If he does plan to sell it, he can get around 3,000 GP for it, which would be enough to pay for all those bullets and then some.

My notes for the chapter:
Title and Theme The title of this chapter, Chasing the Tiaru, is pretty self-explanatory. The party was trying to chase down the Tiaru, to enlist Jurak's help.
Dwarven Shipwreck The dwarven shipwreck was a random encounter I rolled up. Interesting that the party searched it for any salvageable cargo, but then immediately forgot it all when they met the sirine. Well, at least they remembered the magical bullets for Brax.
Moiroloi I never expected the party to try and parley with Moiroloi, and I certainly didn't expect them to try and recruit her. I give sincere kudos for the party trying to reform her, but she was pretty Chaotic Evil. She came dangerously close to just charming the entire crew (the party may have been able to resist her; but the crew would not) and then using them to mutiny. Luckily, it never came to that.
Scrags That scrag battle was pretty tough. I was surprised when Kalana called for the whole crew to come fight them. They are level 0 sailors with THAC0 20, AC 10 and maybe 3-4 HP total. Honestly, I'm not surprised Malika died, I'm surprised the entire crew wasn't slaughtered. Mostly it was luck and the party manage to hold their attention on themselves for the most part. But it is worth noting that the regular crew are not powerful enough to fight anything other than other crews. Sending them against monsters is a certain death sentence.
Saving the Tiaru I miscalculated when I decided the Tiaru would be found fighting off three ships. It has been so long since we had a ship to ship battle in this alleged naval game, that I had completely forgotten how very complex the ship to ship battle rules were. Especially if you have more than two ships involved. Two fleets fighting each other is going to be...interesting. But at least I have plenty of time to prepare for that.
Toven's Sister And now you all know what the deal with Julak and the Myconids is--they took Toven's sister, and the Tiaru is trying to find her. I had meant it as a full quest, if the party had decided to track down the Tiaru and rejoin them, without any other goals in mind. But the Shadowshore storyline will take precedence now.
Divine Favor Updates Senllip earns a point of favor from Octhanus for trying to emphasize with Moiroloi
Relationship Updates None
Any questions, comments, feedback? Let me know. I'll get the next chapter up soon.

I was again slacking, so about shopping Senllip will have sling bullets and will look for magical potions if there are any available. [edit] And of course heal during the downtime. [/edit]
The main issue is what are the requirements to stock the ship we got to our "fleet". Do we need sails, wood, weapons? It's probably costs a lot. But I think this should be the focus, and also plan how we travel and fight using 3 ships. Strategy. Maybe it would be wiser to sell at least one ship and use the money to upgrade the blue moon. Does one good ship has more chance of survival than 3 poor ships? I'm not sure what's the answer but naval people should have known.
About comments: The game is fun. Interaction between the players is good. I feel we continuously have "close to death" experiences (although with the myconds it was an easy fight), so if anyone can point out our mistakes we may improve the next time.

Sling bullets won't be a problem; they only cost 1 copper each. How many did he want? As for magical potions, what kind is he looking for?
Selling one or both cargo ships and using the gold to upgrade the Blue Moon is an option. It all depends on what kind of upgrades you want to make.

Okay, done. It cost him half his money, but he should have enough bullets to last the rest of the campaign now.

So, would they be better off selling off the cargo ships, and using the money to upgrade the Bluemoon? I'm not really sure. WE are going to need more than three ships to take on a fleet of ships.
