Once again, Daos waffles a bit between trying to decide if he should use his sole remaining spell or hold off. Like the previous time with the frogs, he ultimately chooses to wait unless things turn south quickly. He loads another bullet into his sling and lets it fly toward the spider.

Kevril falls backwards in surprise as the massive spider drops down onto him. Luckily, his stumble probably saved him from a nasty bite, as the creature's fangs just slide off his armor. Recovering quickly, he brings an overhand chop down on the spider with his bastard sword, hoping to end the fight as quickly as it started.

Kevril’s off balance swing missed the spider, but reminded him that focus wins fights (or so his old mentor used to say). As the others pound the creature with attack after attack, Kev steps back to give himself room, sets his feet, and lunges with a quick prayer to Mayaheine on his lips.

He carefully cleans his mace before moving carefully towards the shiny objects, keeping a wary eye out for traps, pits or deadfalls in the decrepit tower. OOC I.e. he uses his dwarven ability to detect stonework traps/pits/deadfalls. I assume you'll want to roll for that, GreyWolfVT ? |

Roshek searches for traps/pits/deadfalls ydSmhnYZ1d6 but does not find any.
Going through the debris you find the shiny objects were 71 cp and 38 sp. Among the debris you also find an ivory box about the size of a large book.1d6
