Couple of notes:
First, Magic Missile only has one missile at level 1. For future reference.
Second, someone using a bow can only fire twice if they sacrifice their movement. Had Kendrivel sought cover, he'd have only been able to shoot once. However, the beasts moved into his area before he could, so I figured you wouldn't want to risk taking attacks of opportunity and left him where he was, letting him get both shots. However, if you want to still take that risk, you can.
Same with Malavar, he was threatened before it was his turn, so I ruled he didn't take cover since he would take attacks of opportunity, but he can still take that risk, if he wants.
Not sure which rock Echo was taking cover behind, since there aren't any really near her, so I left her where she is. Did you mean the one way over by Drezden?

yeah that's good. didn't know if he'd go before them or not but should have figured the bow init would slow me to the point of basically going last, lol.

Horizon, do you want me to retroactively move her over to the rock, despite it putting her in melee range of one of the beasts and up at the front where the footmen are heading?

so i didn't realize i was that close to melee with one of the bests, then again i had bottom init of the list so nuts to me gave em time to close in. I guess I shall switch to broadsword then for this round.
I take it they are large sized beasts yes? I only ask as i want to make sure i roll the correct damage.

Ah, sorry, I had meant to clarify that sooner. No, they are medium sized beasts.

I think I've asked this before, but why is it that Drezden never fights with both his broadsword and his hand axe? As a ranger, he can fight with two weapons without penalty, right?

You probably have asked and i don't think dwarf ranger can fight with two weapons at the same time. But Daos can correct on that as it was his ruling to allow a dwarf to be a Ranger in the first place.

Ah, I see. OTOH, it does say "Free dual-wielding" under your class abilities in the character thread.

I can't think of any reason why being a dwarf would prevent him from duel-wielding.

So I wanted him to move south and left (west) not south and right. was there something preventing him from taking that course?

No, I'm just unable to follow directions, it seems. Sorry about that.
I've updated the map to fix it.

lol, no worries it happens. I figured it wouldn't make much difference but he's trying to get where he can hide and fire at the Mages without being directly in front of them, but I guess he's got to deal with these foot soldiers first.
