Oh, should I stop asking them then? No, it's a good worldbuilding exercise for me. Just be aware that a lot of this is off the top of my head (and subject to change ) I also edited some of the different views on the afterlife into that post, if you're interested.

Okay. Often I've had people grow annoyed with me for asking questions, because they see it as me 'poking holes' into their world-building. I'm just curious, though.
Do ghosts exist? Does Speak with Dead do anything? Do the gods need worshipers, like in FR, or they fade away?

Ghost are the souls of people who can't move on--"unfinished business," as they say. They're people that, instead of going to whatever afterlife exists, have their souls stay on the Material Plane, fixated on a particular idea. Speak With Dead works the way it does in RAW--"This spell doesn't return the creature's soul to its body, only its animating spirit. Thus, the corpse can't learn new information, doesn't comprehend anything that has happened since it died, and can't speculate about future events."
The thing about gods in this setting is that people aren't sure if they even exist. The gods seemingly have a hands-off policy in regards to the world, and scholars of magic have tried to cast doubts at every piece of evidence. Cleric magic? It's a powerful faith connecting them to the Weave, rather than a give-and-take relationship with a deity. The Persephone tree, supposedly the goddess herself slumbering? Just a big tree. T'Rack, the god in Mortal form? Just an Orc. Other scholars have proposed that gods gain power from their believers like in FR--after all, if some gods have died because all Mortals had forgotten them...well, we wouldn't remember them, now, would we? But this is all theory on a very grand scale. Ask a random commoner if they believe the gods exist, they'd look at you like you asked if they believed Dwarves exist.

HorizonsDream, the flanking rules were removed in 5E, and Sneak Attack was really simplified. "You don't need advantage on the Attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it, that enemy isn't Incapacitated, and you don't have disadvantage on the Attack roll." So pretty much as long as someone is attacking in melee, you get sneak attack damage.

Daos, Tympany has the following spells in her spellbook: [1] Alarm (R), Mage Armor, Protection From Divinity (C), Shield, Unseen Servant (R), Jump, Longstrider [2] Arcane Lock, Enhance Ability (C), Knock, Invisibility (C) If you two are working together, it costs 10 silver/spell level to copy a spell from one book to the other. It also takes 1 hour/spell level.

Is Protection From Divinity similar to Protection from Evil? If so, I'll take that, Shield and Invisibility. So that's four hours and 4 gold?
