Kori breathes a silent sigh of relief. Her plan is to cast Jump and leap over to the (hopefully) less violently criminal side of the battle. After that, she's less certain-she's already cast her two most combat-oriented spells. But she'll think of something.

"Course is set, captain!" the first mate calls out.
"Ramming speed!" the captain calls out. The ship speeds up even faster, its fore pointed directly at the other ship's port side. "Brace for impact!"
Aboard the Sevenstar
"What isn't real? The pirate ship?" the captain asks just before ducking as the chimera takes another pass.

As soon as Kori casts her spell, she loses concentration of the old one. The image of the chimera flickers and then vanishes without a sound. This causes some confusion among the crew of the Sevenstar, but it also allows them to turn their attention back to the pirate ship and realize it is about to ram them. "Hold on to something!" warns Serinda, just before the two ships collide. There is a moment of silence as everyone regains their footing, before the pirates, swords drawn, start to board the elven ship while screaming battle cries.

Kori jumps onto the Sevenstar, furiously clutching Habbakuk and her spellbook. Hopefully, what insider knowledge she has will be helpful to defeating the pirates-and what could be a better deed than protecting innocents from fearsome marauders?

Kori leaps over to the Sevenstar, finding herself surrounded by angry crewmen, all wielding cutlasses, sabres and clubs. It occurs to her that despite this being a Silvanesti ship, most of the crew are not Silvanesti or even elven. They are made up of all sorts of races--humans, half-elves, kender, dwarves, a couple of gully dwarves and tinker gnomes, even a goblin. And as far as any of them know, Kori is with the pirates who just rammed their ship and are now boarding it!

"Thank goodness!" Kori cries, dropping her spellbook and Familiar and throwing her hands in the air. "I've finally found some people who can rescue me from those horrid pirates!" Kori fails to recognize the stiltedness of her words. "I've been trapped on board that ship for-three days? Four days? ...less than a week. But all my money is on their ship! And my food! And my four daggers-why do I have four daggers? What was my motivation in making that purchase? I can barely carry one! It's these stupid spindly elf arms, I tell you. I...um...I'm not a pirate! Don't kill me!"
Kori is not known for her eloquence.

'Trickery!' he hiss, as he hold the edge of the ship,as the ramming happened.
When Kori jump over and start to talk.
'If you are saying the truth, fight by our side, wizard!'
And with the a roar, the knight charged toward the pirates, horn helmet wearing knight clashing with the natural horned warriors.

Pirates rush onto the ship, and soon each of the party is surrounded by three of them. The exception is Kori, who instead, is surrounded by crewmen. "Drop your weapons!" one crewman warns her.
Meanwhile, combat breaks out all over the ship. Serinda incinerates her three opponents all at once with a flame spell. Reeker kills one, but is wounded by another in turn. Zalura creates multiple copies of herself, but this does little to protect her. Ravarie shapechanges into a panther, taking a minor cut in the process. Lalora gets wounded, Kronn slays one of his opponents, and Sorrith does likewise. Hunner attacks but misses one of his opponents.

Kori looks at her right hand, then her left. Both are empty and raised in the air. She looks down at the floor, where Habbakuk sits on top of her spellbook. "...what weapons?" she asks.

Ravarie lashes out at the pirate that attack her with her claws, now that she is a panther. Though, she does keep an eye on those around her to see who might need healing.
