Braedon, Wolf Touched WarriorARMOR CLASS: 16 | HIT POINTS: 31 | CURRENT: 31 | HIT DIE: 3d10 | CURRENT: 3d10 PASSIVE PERCEPTION: 13 | PASSIVE INSIGHT: 11 | INSPIRATION: 0 ACTIVE EFFECTS: None. CONDITIONS: None. Braedon shrugged at Iroas, unsure of who these graves were occupied by, nor the circumstance of their demise. "Could be locals too, but I'm not interested enough to go digging them up to find out." He did however circle the shallow graves, "Stones indicate that whoever interred them, didn't want scavengers to get at the bodies, so whoever buried them, cared for them too. So it's probably not banded." Bending closer to the ground, he spiraled out, checking for any fresh tracks that might indicate when these bodies were buried, or the direction they travelled when finished. As he did so, he Tsk'ed, "Still, seems a lonely place for dying. Thanks for saying a few words for 'em friend."{Out of Character Actions}OOC: Survival check to look for any tracks, 1d20+3= 15;_6saRNQ01d20+3. My Perception is +3 as well, so if it's one or the other it'll be the same bonus. 1d20+3

While Braedon fails to find a path leading in any particular direction, he does find a confused collection of tracks in the surrounding area, accompanied by a few broken arrows, a discarded javelin, and a tattered gray cloak.

Finishing his prayer, Iroas then looks around while on the hill, using its height to try and see if they are anywhere near their destination, or if there are any other nearby sites or landmarks.

Finishing his prayer, Iroas then looks around while on the hill, using its height to try and see if they are anywhere near their destination, or if there are any other nearby sites or landmarks. Iroas has a good view of the surrounding hills from this vantage point. Several miles to the west, he makes out the tiny outline of Red Larch, and a thin, dark line marking the Long Road. To the north, a slender tower stands among the rocky hills, circled by huge birds. Nothing else of interest is visible.

Shielding his eyes from the sun with his hand, Iroas points to the tower with his other hand. "Could that be the Feathergale spire?" he asks.

Braedon, Wolf Touched WarriorARMOR CLASS: 16 | HIT POINTS: 31 | CURRENT: 31 | HIT DIE: 3d10 | CURRENT: 3d10 PASSIVE PERCEPTION: 13 | PASSIVE INSIGHT: 11 | INSPIRATION: 0 ACTIVE EFFECTS: Manifest Echo. CONDITIONS: None. As Migor offered to help scout, Braedon nodded, "Why don't you scout a path towards the tower, bud?" And then turning to Ioras, "Featherstone seems the most likely," he pointed to the arrow heads and the broken javelin, "There was a skirmish here, or an ambush, it seems that it was a few days ago. If an ambush, we best beware."He fell silent, contemplating his surroundings momentarily, his hand reaching beneath his chain hauberk, thumb and forefinger tracing the surface of the large wolf fang he kept tucked away. As he did so, he sensed movement in the trees, and a spectral wolf stalked the woods about thirty feet from the party. He nodded, a small smile on his face, he felt emboldened by the ghostly presence of his childhood companion, Ironmane. {Out of Character Actions}OOC: Bonus Action to use Manifest Echo. The Echo being a semi-translucent dire wolf, having travelled together Migor would know that the wolf is Braedon's companion.
Manifest Echo: You can use a bonus action to magically manifest an echo of yourself in an unoccupied space you can see within 15 feet of you. This echo is a magical, translucent, gray image of you that lasts until it is destroyed, until you dismiss it as a bonus action, until you manifest another echo, or until you're incapacitated.
Your echo has AC 14 + your proficiency bonus, 1 hit point, and immunity to all conditions. If it has to make a saving throw, it uses your saving throw bonus for the roll. It is the same size as you, and it occupies its space. On your turn, you can mentally command the echo to move up to 30 feet in any direction (no action required). If your echo is ever more than 30 feet from you at the end of your turn, it is destroyed.
As a bonus action, you can teleport, magically swapping places with your echo at a cost of 15 feet of your movement, regardless of the distance between the two of you. When you take the Attack action on your turn, any attack you make with that action can originate from your space or the echo's space. You make this choice for each attack. When a creature that you can see within 5 feet of your echo moves at least 5 feet away from it, you can use your reaction to make an opportunity attack against that creature as if you were in the echo's space.
However, the Echo is *not* a creature, it is treated as a magical object, similar to dancing lights. So it is not subject to Attacks of Opportunity, nor can it be targeted by spells that can't target objects, and it can move through three dimensional space.

Iroas appears worried. "Do you think whatever happened here," he says, gesturing to the graves, "had anything to do with the Feathergale Knights?" He wonders if his quarry was one of the people buried at his feet. If so, then he had already failed in his mission.

After an hour of travel through the thick woods, the party comes across a small troupe of people--fourteen in all--coming from the west. Three wear armor and carry spears, while four are dressed in priestly robes and bear holy symbols of Sylvanus, god of Druids.
"Oh, hello, there!" a woman in robes remarks. "I didn't fancy we'd meet anyway out here. Where are you three headed?"
