"Well, it does remind one of a lightning bolt spell. I suppose it could stand in for that school of arcane magic. Going by the diagram, we then have to work out which jar would represent spells of enchantment."

"Good enough for me," Zedd says. He puts on a pair of gloves so he can handle the jar safely, then picks it up and carefully moves it to an empty slot. "Any ideas for its opposite?"

"Makes sense!" Zedd agrees. He picks up the jar with dirt in it and places it opposite the lightning jar. "Now what?"

"Kendrivel, in what way does a jar of dirt suggest enchantment to you?" Malavar asks.

En what ment? You said opposites, duh. What is more opposite lightning from the sky than dirt from the ground?! he asks, incredulously
==== lol Kendrivel definitely doesn't get it

Drezden wishes to correct the kender but isn't sure how to explain it "Eh well your kinda wrong, according to what I've learned of nature and from druids. Lightning actually comes from both the ground and sky lad."

"Did either of you have a better idea then for lightning's opposite?" Zedd asks.

Drezden sighs "Well it depends. Is lightning representing elements or eh what was it elemental magic? What opposes that and what do we have left for jars?"

"We are speaking about opposites as in the schools of magic that wizards believe in, not natural opposites like fire and water," Malavar weighs in. "Dallion's diagram shows that the opposite of invocation and evocation magic is seen as spells of enchantment and charm. Now, it may be a stretch, but what if the latter school also includes magic that can create enchanted items? Shraevyn was known for enchanting weapons, including the Sword of the Dales that Randal Morn came looking for. One of the jars showed us a fine sword, perhaps even a representation of the Sword? Perhaps it also represents the enchantment school?"

"...what do we have left for jars?" "Aside from the lightning jar and the dirt jar, there are also the raining jar, the jar that showed a bunch of adventurers underground, the sword jar, and the jar that paralyzed Dallion," Zedd lists. "One of the jars showed us a fine sword, perhaps even a representation of the Sword? Perhaps it also represents the enchantment school?" "Well, what do the rest of you think? Are you in agreement with Malavar or Kendrivel?" Zedd asks the dwarf and elf.

"The sword is most likely enchantment. The jar that showed the adventurers might be divination" the elf says half distracted

"And the opposite of divination would be...summoning, right?" Zedd asks, trying to remember.

"I suppose it did conjure up a pair of wings," Zedd muses.
