Wouldn't the rope just get stuck in the webbing, too? Likely before it even reached its target. i guess that would depend on if the web extends above him as well? otherwise i would think the end of the rope could be lobbed high to land within reach you'd almost be better off having someone else burn or but the webbing to help those of us stuck in them for the next several rounds. That or just attack the draconians drop them and by them most of us should be free. Yeah, fire is a classic way out. But i'd rather not die getting free, haha

Tristen you have a point there. I'd prefer to not get scorched trying to free myself from the webbing.

I mean, at current level we'd likely survive it but one stray shot on top of that might be enough to K.O. someone. It's a toss-up if those free can handle the caster before more of us get free

The webbing's height is about 10 feet, yeah.
And yes, setting it on fire will burn it away in a single round. But everyone caught in it takes 2d4 fire damage, no save. So something of a mixed bag.

I would take the gamble if we had others of higher levels or with more HP. I at this stage wouldn't want to kill off some of classes with lower HP counts that would be not worth the gamble imo. Unless the 2d4 dmg came out to min dmg. Even then for a Mage it would be close to death or death.

Yeah, those of us stuck right now would survive no matter what it rolled, but that's taking unnecessary dmg.
Also Ferd is stuck, i'd hate to lose our pack animal and spend the rest of the adventure with everyone in even worse encumberance

Yeah. That would be bad.

Since this is the round Kaelestia will finally break free I was wondering: does moving this last foot out of the webbing leave me able to do something?

Yes, she'll escape the webbing next round with having only used 1 foot of movement. So she'll have 79 feet of movement remaining (or 39 feet if she plans to use an action, too).

would it be a move or a free action for granker to pick up his katar?

According to the PHB (CH. 9, page 93, 'What You Can Do in a Round'), while unsheathing a weapon is a free action, picking up a dropped weapon does take a standard action.

It'd be a shame to lose him now, right on the cusp of second level. Hopefully someone reaches him before he hits -10 HP.

Just remember what happens if a bozak dies, as Granker's body is right next to him.
