Arthogate more confused than before "Wait? What? Thirty kids went missing? I was asking for the names of the kids because you made it sound like only two were missing not thirty!." the dwarf looks awestruck and his eyes go wide and he shakes his head. Eventually he sighs deeply and pinches the bridge of his nose....

Kaelestia
Hp: 12/12 - AC: 5 Seeing the group coming to an agreement, Kaelestia turns to Sha'al, having noticed the distress in the man's heart. - " You will accompany us, yes? Your keen senses have saved us many times, we could not succeed without your aid."

Sha'al rubs his temples as the kender elaborate on the details of dozens of the little maniacs running loose.
When Kaele turns to him he gives her an odd look, but it softens as he comes to a realization. Kaele... i might dread what we're about to do, but a crew sticks together when things get tough. Besides, we'll never get the Squall repaired without it. he pats her on the shoulder. She had a good heart. how the hells she ended up with the rest of them he couldn't figure.
Turning to the Kender, he asks. So what makes you think there are ghosts? And what dangerous creatures have you actually seen in the woods here?

"Wait? What? Thirty kids went missing? I was asking for the names of the kids because you made it sound like only two were missing not thirty!" "Did I?" asks the male kender. "No, no, it's all the kids in our village. We have lots of search parties combing the forest for them, but no luck so far." "So what makes you think there are ghosts? And what dangerous creatures have you actually seen in the woods here?" "Oh, everyone knows about the ghosts," says the female kender. "My Uncle Tas once met some, but that was a different forest. But we've all heard stories of ghosts in this forest, too. I've never seen one, but my best friend's second cousin twice removed told me that her aunt's neighbor's sister-in-law saw one roaming the forests at night. It kept moaning and groaning, like it was in terrible pain." "I saw a forest troll once," says the male kender. "We try and stay away from them. They aren't very fun. They'll attack anyone and anything, even each other! But they only appear at night, too. I heard they're scared of clerics, though." "They are all sorts of wild things out there, especially among all the ruins," the female kender adds. "Some old mage kingdom from the Age of Dreams. So there's lots of magic floating around, and it can do some pretty weird things, I hear."

OOC: to be fair, the standard spell for Parra to prepare would probably be burning hands, unless she aware of a specific need.
IC: Parra is cranky, and swearing all the way. Parra sigh with defeat as the crew agree to help the damn kenders. "Here" And she pick a hair from the head of the "worried father" kender. "I'll just state it clear. If you are lieing to us, or sending us on a goose chase, Nuitari is my witness I will make you suffer." She is conflicted of how seriouse to take what ever the kenders are spouting.

"Parra," Sumina says sternly and shakes her head. She highly doubted that the kender were trying to mislead them. Her head was swimming with the idea of gathering their kender children though. "Where were they last seen?"

Parra turn to Sumina. "What? I will only use it if he give me a reason. Surely he wouldn't. Now would he?" she stare at him with her bloodshot eye

Arthogate shaking his head "I guess next time lead with that then. A couple of missing kids is concerning but an entire village of them is a big deal. Sounds mighty strange too. Who would want to take all of the children in a village? Certainly, nobody up to any good."

And she pick a hair from the head of the "worried father" kender. The kender attempts to duck away when she grabs for his hair. (OOC: Make a normal attack roll to see if you can grab the hair.) "Where were they last seen?" "Back in the village," the female kender answers. "Nobody's seen them since then, which was a few weeks ago."

Kaelestia
Hp: 12/12 - AC: 5 " Thank you." - she whispers softly to Sha'al. Kaelestia stands back and lets the others speak with the kenders, but her interest is piqued back when they touch on the topic of the ancient ruins: " Can you tell us more about those ruins? Did you have a chance to explore them?"

"Oh, the ruins are all over the forest," the male kender answers. "Don't know much about them, though; not a historian. I just know they date back to the Age of Dreams and belonged to some kind of mage nation."

And the kids knew about these ruins? Seems a likely place.
