"Knowing kender, they probably took the little known trail here," Sumina says. "More adventurous to them."

Arthogate "Yeah, if Twil is any indicator whatever strikes their interest will quickly change which direction they go. Who knows if they all stuck together as well. We might find a whole village of kids spread all over the place."

While the party discusses which way to go, Ferd moves to the very limit of how far his reins will allow to munch on a very specific tuft of grass just off the path.

Kaelestia
Hp: 12/12 - AC: 5 Kaelestia gets close to where Ferd is cropping the grass, petting him. She checks the grass to be sure he is not eating something that could make him unwell. OOC Actions what's so particular about this grass? Is there something? Or should I roll Herbalism?

Parra took a bit of water and the right soil for clay. (if she find), and would hold herself from murdering Ferd, by busying herself with the doll craft. She is annoyed, and wonder if Nuitari punish her, for just torturing Twili a bit, and not murdering him.
Parra kneel down near the kender and study if there anything of intrest or value in this grass.

As far as Kaelestia or Parra can tell, there is nothing special about that tuft of grass. There were plenty of identical tufts closer, but Ferd seemed interested in the one furthest away for no particular reason. Then again, he's always been a picky eater.

"Well, let's get moving," Sumina says. "The more we dally, the more likely we will never find these kids." Sumina wasn't in the lead, so she motions for Art and Granker to move forward down the small trail.

The party stops examining random tufts of grass and finally chooses a random direction (I guess?) to follow the path. After about an hour of walking on it, they hear a commotion up ahead. Moving forward, the path turns northward and brings them to some ancient ruins comprising of a few arches and walls covered in moss, and the foundation of what might have once been a tower. From the north, three kender children (two boys and a girl) come running southward, hooting and hollering and otherwise having a great time. "You'll never catch us, you big, dumb lizardfaces!" they cry, laughing and carrying on. One of the male kenders pauses briefly to empty out one of his pouches on the path. The objects fall all over and appear to be some kind of makeshift caltrops. The three kender then scramble up some of the walls. A pack of draconians come after them, furious. There is one bozak (Bo) and four baaz (B1, B2, B3, B4). The lead baaz (B4) tramples right through the caltrops, taking considerable damage. He curses and shouts in pain. The other dracs take more care to avoid them, but still pursue anyway. The draconians are so laser focused on the kender, none of them even notice the party a mere thirty feet away. "We're going to wring your little necks!" the wounded baaz shouts, and they start preparing to find a way to climb up after the kender.

Kaelestia
Hp: 12/12 - AC: 5 So the kenders were telling the truth, draconians did infest this forest. Regardless of the fact that they were in the way of their mission to save the kids, Kaelestia couldn't stay still and let them wreck havoc into the woods. " Prepare yourself." - she whispers softly to the others. - " I will render them easier for you to hit." She waits for the others to arm themselves, and then she is going to start casting a spell which will engulf the draconians in blue light. OOC Actions Initiative: 0_nJPEvX1d10Action: when the others are ready, casting Faerie Fire on the draconians (I think she should be able to get all of them?) 1d10

Arthogate takes up his bow and readies for signal to fire once the dracs are "easier to hit" as it was suggested.

Sha'al smirks at Parra's comment. He hurls a javelin at the Bozak. Eat Bilge dreg-cured yeast broth, you snake-slime! then he readies his trident
