Parra fills a quarter of her spellbook with new spells.
"Ah, yes, Munirr mentioned him to me," Hafgrim says. "Based on his description, I believe I know him. Or know of him, rather. His name is Tor-hoch, a Black Robe. They say he is clever, ruthless and quite dangerous. He must be working for Frachier-knol, I imagine."
Meanwhile, Styrkunn looks over the staff with interest. "I can feel the power of Habbakuk within this weapon, that's for sure. Such a staff would no doubt be useful in the hands of Good. But to trade? Hmm. I have a few items that might do. My hammer is blessed, as is my shield. I also have a magical rope that responds to words. You can tell it to tie around something, dart forward, knot itself, and a number of other things. Would any of these items be worth a trade for you?"

Parra learns Jump, Shocking Grasp, Lasting Breath, Firewater, ESP, Deep Eyes and Withstand Water, taking up 25 pages of her spellbook.

Sumina seems surprised at the willingness of these two to share things with her crew. She is a dually slightly suspicious of it, but she keeps quiet on the matter.

"I would be interested in the shield and the rope, if that seems reasonable to you."

"Tor-Hoch. Eh? His barnacin' Slowing spell was devastating. Do you have a plan what can we do next time we encounter him?' Parra ask, now in a great mood.
"I want to make a drinking horn out of his horn. His continued existence is an insult to me."

"Well, now, two items for one hardly seems fair, does it?" asks Styrkunn.
Hafgrim answers, "My advice would be to change up your tactics. Whatever ones you used before, he will be prepared for them if you meet him again. An unpredictable opponent is always a challenge to any wizard."

Parra nod enthuasticly. "I think I have an idea. " Pause. "I wonder... what has pushed you to seek the Art? And... was the Test that bad?"

"Well, I mean.. It is a once lost artifact of your God, otherwise I would not have made this kind of proposal." - she explains.

she doesn't want to force him to take the deal, she is just explaining her point of view.

"Family, I suppose," Hafgrim answers Parra. "It's something of a family tradition. My mother, grandfather, great-grandmother and so on, at least since the Cataclysm, perhaps longer, have studied the Art. You might say magic is in my family's bloodline." A shadow passes over his face at the mention of the Test. "It is...a very personal experience. No magic speaks of it. It's a...very harrowing experience," is all he offers. "Those who survive, do so at the skin of their teeth. But given the rewards, I daresay if I could do all over again, I would."
Styrkunn strokes his beard. "That's quite a...mercenary perspective. I imagine if the boot were on the other foot, and I had a relic of Chislev in my possession, you might feel quite differently about the whole thing. Well, in any case, the weapon belongs in the hands of a priest of Good, but there's no danger of it being used against Good. In your own hands, it's just a simple stick of wood, fairly useless beyond any other staff. So I'll be willing to trade one item for it, but not two. And if that's not good enough for you, perhaps you'll have better luck with the next priest of Habbakuk you run into."

Parra nod. "A respectful motivation." she look at sea. "So there are no speficic way to prepare to the Test? The exact spells? Uh. I guess it's more about testing our metal." she give a side glance at the dealing between Kaelestia and Styrkunn.
"So your crew. You are just bunch of happy friends with a pretty ship? Maybe I am too cynical but... I feel like you have an edge.. which I havent seen yet. Maybe I'll see when we go to release your crewamtes. Um."

Hafgrim nods. "Even if I were to tell you everything about my Test, it would be of no help to you. The Test is custom made for each participant. Its elements are drawn directly from our minds by the Dreamshapers, mages that specialize in subconscious thought and dreams."
He adds, "As for the crew, we're all bloodbrothers and sisters. We fight together, sail together, and all have each others' backs. Is that not how it is with your own crew?" he asks.

I owe my life to them, directly toward Kaelestis the most, and Grankar has convinced me to leave my original family. Yes." she nod.

Hafgrim nods. "Then you understand. Our crew is our chosen family. It's why we are united in avenging Griselda and rescuing the captain and Cordelia."

Parra nod. "I can understand vengance and obligation. Yes." Not sure what else to say at the momwnt, but she will try the very least to devolp collegue relations witb Hagfrim, is has already benefitted her, and it wont be bad to in the good graces of an intiated mage.
She also should think of ways to impress him.
"You wouldnt be any chance have any bodily part of our enemies? A hair or even a blood?"
