Zencho clench his teeth in pain. "Killing is kind of a poison to one's karma, but what made them like that?!" He reply with a yell and a burp. Swinging himself he spin, and send another wack at the farmer and then add a kick.

Vulpi reaches for the axe strapped to their bag, now on the ground at their feet, and the farmer attacks during this opening, his sickle managing to cut into the elf and draw some blood. Vulpi reverses the grip on their sword and strikes the farmer between the eyes with the pommel, knocking them out cold. The elf then moves northward and throws the axe at the farmer attacking Ha-Yun, cutting into the crazed farmer deeply. Meanwhile, that same farmer swings at Ha-Yun but between her injury and the Bane spell on her, she only hits air. Ha-Yun tries to counter with her dagger, but is unaccustomed to fighting in this way and misses. Fortunately, Seeboe, dropping his pack, rushes up behind the farmer and clobbers him with his shillelagh, knocking him out. Chispa fends off an attack from her opponent, then smacks them across the chin with her hammer, knocking her out, as well. This just leaves Zencho and his opponent. Neither can get the upperhand, both missing their strikes against each other. ============= InitiativeFarmer 01: 22 Farmer 03: 19 Farmer 02: 15 Vulpi: 11 Farmer 04: 10 Brave Woman: 10 Seeboe: 9 Ha-Yun: 8 Chispa: 8 Zencho: 3 Round 02!Farmer 01 swings his sickle at Vulpi [AC 14] (1d20+3): 11+3 = 14, hit for (1d6+1): 4+1 = 5 slashing damage. ... soooo. Thorn whip is a "melee spell attack" with a 30ft range so therefore can be used nonlethally?... Vulpi cannot get within range and smack this round using a nonlethal attack, and neither can Seeboe... But I think even just a little distance would get Seeboe there since thorn whip is melee?. So can Vulpi go and throw Seeboe as far as they can toward farmer 02? then use the rest of their movement to get as close as they can toward farmer 02 themselves. If so Vulpi goes throws Seeboe then moves closer to farmer 02. Strength: ZSiga5CF1d20+1 then Seeboe will move within range to nonlethally use thorn whip to attack farmer 02. 1d20+4: if damage1d6
Else both will just dash toward farmer 021d20+1·1d20+4·1d6

Ooc: Maybe I'm blind, but I can't find farmer 2 on the map.
IC: Ha Yun let's the others deal with the last farmer as she tries to find some rope or such to tie the knocked out farmers up.

Chispa moves as fast as possible to close the gap to the last opponent.
=============================================== (OOC: Is it dash that let you double the movement in a round? Or just forfeiting attack? Anyway, she gets as close as possible so she will be able to attack.)

ooc: it is the dash action. typically attacks are also actions. some races not accessible to us in this campaign and classes have other methods of accomplishing this; I think there might be some feats too but I'd have to look.

Vulpi rushes over to pick up Seeboe and throw him, but it's not much of a throw--barely clearing five whole feet. Seeboe starts running as soon as his feet hit the ground, but he doesn't quite make it close enough to attack.
Ha-Yun looks around, but there doesn't appear to be any rope in the immediate vicinity that she can see.
Chispa dashes forward, but doesn't get there in time. Zencho, however, is able to knock out the final farmer on his own.
With the fight over, the locals begin returning to tend to the wounded, all wondering what happened. There are whispers of curses or hexes among them. They help in restraining the unconscious farmers.
The woman who stood her ground approaches them. "Thanks for not killing them. They are our friends and neighbors, despite how they are acting today. You all can call me Aunt Dellie, by the way. Everyone does. Who are you all?"

Vulpi will let others do the talking, they are more concerned about safety. First they look for any movement on the perimeter that could have been someone controlling the villagers probably now fleeing or perhaps residual magic evidence. perception: t0kOnlz81d20+2

"Well, obviously we got the point that you know them and didn't want to kill them." Chispa answers. "Did that happened before? Do you know what is the source of this evil? It seems like mind control or possession."

"We are shieldbears," Ha Yun says. "We were sent here to keep an eye on things," she explains. "Who are these people, and is there a place we can take them so we can keep them safe and other people safe?"

Vulpi looks around, but does not see anything suspicious. The locals all appear shocked or concerned, quietly murmuring to themselves about what could have caused this.
Aunt Dellie says to Chispa, "No, I've never seen or heard about anything like this before. Controlled, you say? Like with some kind of voodoo? That's troubling," she admits, concerned.
"Shieldbearers? From the Citadel?" she asks Ha-Yun. "Then perhaps y'all are better suited to figuring out what's going on than me. I bet you've seen all sorts of crazy stuff before." She gestures to the four, unconscious and tied up farmers. "These are farmers and friends. Local folk. Ain't ever seen any of them act like this before. The folk here can keep them safe, but I'm more worried about what if this things spreads? It could be chaos. We need to figure out what's causing it. Any ideas?"

After tying them up, Vulpi will check symptoms: strange behavior, red eyes, does Vulpi see anything else and does Vulpi have an idea about what could lead to these?
