Yep. A couple of years back, I actually sat down and watched all of Star Trek. About one or two episodes a day, starting with the original, then ending with Enterprise. It took me well over a year to do it. While TOS and ENT have only three and four seasons respectively, DS9, TNG and VOY all have seven seasons each. Quite a bit of material, indeed.

When it comes to Star Trek, my favorites are The Next Generation and Deep Space 9. I'm pretty sure Deep Space 9 is my overall favorite. I was really enjoying the new Star Trek that just came out with Jason Issacs too, but I haven't had the chance to watch all of it yet.

Next Generation, I would have liked to see the original, but that isn't on Netflix any more. As everyone else has said, welcome to the Trekkie herd! I've watched at some point everything except the newest one, but that's because I refuse to pay basic cable a subscription fee<_<

Also, I've been catching up on the second season of Bill Nye Saves the World on Netflix. As well as Black Mirror's fourth season, also on Netflix. It's an anthology, so each episode is completely different (different cast, different story, different world). It's sort of a British Twilight Zone, but all of the episodes center around technology specifically. Some are pretty trippy. Most are very dark.

Neat. Me and Ezeze just reached the halfway point on Luke Cage. Luke Cage is also my favorite marvel property right now. Why are golden-age tier heroes so good?

I liked Luke Cage, too, although it sort of falls apart a bit on the second half. It's still really good, though.

Seven Deadly Sins is back! I like this show, except for the gross way Meliodas treats Elizabeth. I'm hoping they tone that down in the second season.

I liked Luke Cage, too, although it sort of falls apart a bit on the second half. It's still really good, though. So me and Ezeze finally finished Luke Cage. It was a fun ride, really hate forced romance with one of the characters+Luke, but it's better than JJ/LC at least. The last episode was really weird though. Still by far my favorite Marvel property RN

Yeah, it's my second favorite, personally. Season 2 is supposed to come out sometime this year, but no idea what month yet. I know Jessica Jones' second season comes out in March.

{Spoiler: End of Luke Cage Season 1}I love Shades/Mariah. They have more damn sexual chemistry than any two other people in the Marvel-verse so far. Snacs will confirm - I spent the last episode yelling at the TV that they need to hook up, and I whooped when Mariah kissed Shades.

I stopped watching The Simpsons over a decade ago, I think. It long stopped being funny to me, but my Dad still watches it religiously every week. It used to be a big family thing, back when I was a kid, with my dad, sister and I. It's weird to think that show has been on the air since I was 7. I am a big fan of SHIELD, too. I'm loving the current storyarc and can't wait to see what they do with it.

Snacs and I have gotten through the first season of Jessica Jones, Luke Cake and Iron Fist and the first two seasons of Daredevil. We watched 'em all in cannon order, and we're on to The Defenders. Some quick babbling about a throw-away line in episode ~3 or so that I'm not going to hide behind Spoiler tags because it's not actually plot relevant. When she is in the Turkish restaurant Alexandra calls the city "Constantinople" and the man she is talking to corrects her. He says that Constantinople is its ancient name - it's Istanbul now. It occurred to me to do some reading on Wikipedia and I discovered something interesting; sure the city is called Istanbul now and it was officially called Constantinople while it was under Byzantine control (right up until 1923!) - but even during Byzantine control it was called Istanbul by Turkish sources ( Wikipedia). So Alexandra did not call the city Constantinople because she is old. She called it Constantinople because she is European.
