I mean, there are seven of us, right (unless Jherek dropped out?) Maybe. He's been kinda spotty the last two weeks or so in general, though, so maybe not. It happens around this time of year when you have midgets (at least, I assume. I have never had midgets myself). I think GravityEmblem is done except for gear. @truemane PMed me a character sheet which is done except for gear and aspects. Snacs has thrown 1,000,003 character ideas at me and I'm not sure which one is sticking. Martel has settled on Druid N0br41nz has put a few options out, Daos wants to know what everyone else is playing first and Jherek Everfull hasn't posted (but I'm not too fussed about that). I'll start you guys on hypotheticals as soon as you have a completed character.

Snacs - Unknown So it looks like we might need a warrior and a rogue. And Unknown no more!
Osfer, Knight of the Orchard has a sheet now. Gotta pick a feat, buy stuff, and lay down the backstory(though I've given the idea of it to Ezeze already.)

So then:
GravityEmblem - Male Half-Elf Sorcerer Martel - (Gender?) (Race?) Druid truemane - (Gender?) (Race?) Cloister Cleric Snacs - Male Halfling Knight Me - Unknown N0br41nz - Male Air Gnome Archivist(?)
So class wise, at least, we have three divine casters (unless N0br41nz changes his mind), a warrior and a blaster.
So I think I might go with Rogue. It's what I played in that Pathfinder game, so it won't be completely alien to me, at least.

The littles are eating up significantly more of my time lately...buuuut I love being super dad...so yeah! Winning!
The I have two ideas kicking around in my noggin:
1) A failed wizards apprentice...probably a duskblade. 2) A paladin of some sort. Not sure where I want to go with this one. Would the substitution levels from 'Champions of Valor' be allowed?

I would be willing to switch out my class for Factotum, if someone else really wanted to be a divine caster.
But otherwise, I'm a Male, Human, Cloistered Cleric named Armand Highword.

Having played a lot of 3.5 games with Ezeze , she's very good at adapting to non-optimal teams. If we all went bard she'd roll with it I have no doubts about this. But a lot of players like it when their concept stands out. So if someone was all CLERIC PLZ but didn't want to be Cleric #4 on the Cleric Squad, then I'd switch out. Outside of Psionics, Factotum is my favourite class. So either way is good.

I do tend to have more problems with over-optimized groups. God dammit Kenya [/in joke]

GravityEmblem - Male Half-Elf Sorcerer Martel - (Gender?) (Race?) Druid truemane - Male Human Cloister Cleric Snacs - Male Halfling Knight N0br41nz - Male Air Gnome Archivist or Factotum (?) Jherek - (Gender?) (Race?) Duskblade or Paladin(?) Me - Female (Race?) Rogue
Okay, so still going with Rogue for class.
This party is starting to look a bit of a sausage party, so I think I'll play a female character.
I might have an idea for a character now. Maybe.
Work is still kicking my butt, but I have a three day weekend coming up (SUN-TUE), and then things will finally calm down again, so I should be able to work up something during that time.

Just curious: should we expect to level our characters during play?

Just curious: should we expect to level our characters during play? Yes, but only to 4 or 5. It's not a long story.

I found a 3E character generator. How does this look? I'm no expert in 3E, by any means, so let me know if there's some fatal flaw in there. I would really, really change your con score with your Wisdom. It really only effects your will save, which is rough-but having more than 4 hp is way more mission critical, especially in low level 3E. You start with 125 gold, so I'd upgrade that dagger to a rapier(20gp)-or better yet, just add the rapier with the dagger since daggers cost 1gp and can be thrown. The light crossbow(35gp), dagger and rapier(21gp), and some leather armor(+2ac, 10gp, no check penalties which is good for hide-y rogues) leaves you with 59 gold. 30 bolts for the crossbow drops it down to 56gp left over to buy other miscellaneous equipment. Otherwise that is a level 1 shoot-y rogue!
