Theodore Magnus, played by Jherek Everfull High Concept: Fey Touched Warrior Aspect: Ward of the Crown, sorta... Aspect: We Are Made of Sterner Stuff Aspect: Bravery over Brains Everyday! So your entire family died, you were touted as the poster boy for the War of Wits, your picture was everywhere for the span of a few months with "We Are Made of Sterner Stuff!" written all over it. Then you got out to the war and the True Justice pretty much immediately sank and you spent a few years surviving on your own (to your knowledge). On one hand surviving on your own at such a young age is a huge accomplishment. On the other, you haven't actually been of any use to the war. Do you feel proud that you survived or like you've let down your family and don't deserve all the accolades and praise you've gotten? To your knowledge you haven't had any company for years. How has that affected your personality? Are you shy? Are you desperate to be around people? Drace has not paid a whole lot of attention to you. When The Vehement picked you up Drace attributed your turn of good luck to a fortune telling by Fateh Phalron - an Israshi holy man who is nominally Drace's captive who is treated more like an honored guest and advisor. Drace hardly makes a move without this foreigner's input, and he seems to give good advice, but he's still from the nation responsible for the deaths of your family. How do you feel about that?

Survival and Abscence from the War: Theodore is extremely conflicted about the whole situation. On one hand, he’s proved that he is in face “Made of Sterner Stuff” by surviving alone on a deserted island for several years. He has a head full of knowledge and skills he mastered while struggling against nature. He feels he has a certain amount of mastery over nature and the elements, he is proud of his accomplishment! At the same time, he has only fought in maybe three or four battles total in a war that has lasted five full years. He feels a profound sense of embarrassment mixed with a sense of failure that he hasn’t contributed more. His quest to avenge his family and bring an empire to its knees floundered on the same rocks as ‘True Justice’. TLDR; he’s heavily conflicted about the pride and humiliation he feels for the same thing.
WILSON!: I hadn’t thought about how that would effect his personality. He likely strives to be around people. He allows his aristocratic up bringing to keep people at bay, using it as a defense mechanism when he feels overwhelmed by interacting with others. He’s a bit paranoid.
Irashi Rasputin: simple, probably plotting the death of that witch man. He would feel betrayed. Confused. He is likely trying to plot a way to show Drace that he cannot trust the soothsayer. He is worried that the Irashi could potentially ingratiate himself into the court...he suspects the man is a spy, that this is a long play.

In what way is he paranoid, and why? What does he think is going to happen?
He also had huge swaths of his memories unceremoniously wiped from his mind. Has he noticed anything amiss? Does he have any reason at all to suspect?
Do the faeries miss him? Do you think they'll follow him at all?
Also, as an aristocrat, he would have been aware from a young age that one of his responsibilities was to eventually marry and start a family. The years he spent away from human contact - from 12 to 17 - are important for a young man from a developmental standpoint. So, not to put too fine a point on it; how do we feel about girls?

I feel like all of these can be answered in one long and glorious paragraph. Theo feels like he doesn't belong with 'regular' people. For that last few months he's chalked it up to the differences between Gentlemen vs Enlisted Sailors, and a Royal Ward vs 'Regular' Nobility. He has had dreams where he interacts with 'equals'. Men and women of good breeding, polished appearance, educated, and curious. In these dreams they discuss the world, philosophy, politics, and a million other things he believes are important. Lately the figures in his dreams have shifted their forms. Nothing pronounced subtle changes in color, lilts of voices, and things like that. His dream always ends with him jumping into a pool of some kind of water. He wakes...slightly damp, from sweat? The memories aren't gone...more like blocked, sorta like a trauma memory. His dreams are his mind trying to make sense of the bleed through. As his mind pieces things together he may begin to suspect something, as of now...He feels alone in a crowd, these people aren't the people he's supposed to be with. Everything feels wrong. Which is where the paranoia comes from. He is sure everyone is hiding something...the 'real' faces he sees in his dreams. At the same time...the human need for others is so powerful, it pulls him to try and feel 'normal' among the others...it is something he is struggling with profoundly.
Do the faeries miss him? I think some of them miss their "mortal brother/pet". I hadn't thought to flesh out his acquaintances among the Fae Clan, but he certainly had teachers, friends, and possibly lovers among them. Do you think they'll follow him at all? It is certainly possible. My idea behind the bag was that it would contain some item his adoptive mother uses to keep tabs on him, or possibly a way for the water elemental type fae to leave their secluded little island.
How do we feel about girls? He finds them all wanting. Something about living among, Nerieds, Sirens, and Nixies has skewed what he finds attractive on a deep phycological level. He measures women against faeries...at least his subconscious does.
