It's even worse for me. My writing has improved a lot in the last few years--which means reading my posts from several years ago is very cringeworthy to me. So I can't even check what happened in early chapters without feeling embarrassed.

I feel the same way about my DMing. Which is why it's really saying something that I can look back at my Slayer campaign and still think it turned out really good.

I'm still working on Renosia in the background. I came up with a few possible pitches for a game there. I figure if I know the general theme of the game, I can focus my efforts on there, and figure out which nation we'll be starting in.
So here are some of my ideas:
Military Game - The PCs are members of the military (either they volunteered or were pressed into service) to fight in Renosia's many, endless wars. The quests would be given to them by their commanders, and the PCs would have the opportunity to climb the ranks as they succeed over time. The party could do things like sneak behind enemy lines, disrupt supply lines, capture and interrogate enemy soldiers, scout and spy, and of course, fight the enemy, as well.
Rebel Game - The PCs are members of a rebel group that are fighting against the oppressive and tyrannical forces in charge. Maybe they believe in freedom and justice, or maybe they're just sellswords for hire. Because the rebels don't have the manpower to stand up to the bad guys face-to-face, they would act in the shadows, so quests would be things like assassinations, bombings, and more insurrectionist sort of stuff.
Thieves Game - The PCs are all members of a thieves' guild in a city, or perhaps a bandit group out in the wilderness. Of course, they don't have to have the Thief class. Fighters can be muscle, Spellcasters can use their magic for things like Silence, Invisibility, Knock. Bards are natural con-men, and so forth. Quests would include things like performing heists, highway robberies, conning rich suckers, and of course, climbing the ranks of the guild.
Slayer Game - The PCs are members of a group that slays monsters for a living. Sort of like exterminators, but instead of rats or bugs, they deal with things like dragons, vampires or fiends. Quests would involve tracking down and slaying creatures, either because they are a threat or for their parts (to sell or use).
Detective Game - The PCs are members of a small detective agency in a large city. Who do you turn to when you live in a world with magic, monsters and gods and the police can't help you? These guys. (This was the premise of that Planescape game Jherek started years ago and never finished.)
Zombie Apocalypse - The dead have revolted, and the party's job is to try and survive for as long as they can. They have a small stronghold to keep out the dead, but they have to go out now and again for supplies out into the wasteland of the city. That's where the PCs come in.
Underdark Game - The party has been stranded in the depths of the Underdark, and must survive against the terrors lurking down there. Not only are there the dangers of monsters like Cavefishers, Mindflayers and Aboleth, but you might have to navigate the intrigue and politics of the races that dwell down there, like the Duergar and the Drow.
These are just a handful of ideas, and I might come up with more later on as I flesh things out. You two may have your own ideas you want to include; in which case, by all means, please share. But regardless, any thoughts on what sounds good? Any that are right out?

I like the Slayer game and the Detective game. I read a lot of Agatha Christie, so I might be pretty good at a campaign like that!

Well, the Slayer game and the Detective game would both take place in the same region, so that helps narrow things down quite a bit for me. Thanks.

I would be cool with the Slayer game too. Since I plan on keeping Ladonna, I figure what is happening now is a good way to get her out of Gontoria.

I have some preliminary stuff done for the Church of Renos. I may add or change it later on, but I thought I'd share what I have so far, in case anyone had any feedback.
No stats yet, that'll come later.

Who here likes Dwarves? I mean, other than Greywolf. I've decided to bring back sub-races. I removed them once, because I was trying to make the setting more unique, and to make things simpler. But after seeing how much 5E is homogenizing the races, I felt like bringing them back. Originally, the way it was set up, was that each setting has its own subraces. So for instance, with Dwarves, you had Hill Dwarves in Gontoria, Mountain Dwarves in Crizzara, Sundered Dwarves in Octhania, Grey Dwarves in Renosia and Deep Dwarves in Rabbah. So, behold, the block on Grey Dwarves, AKA, Duergar:

That looks pretty interesting, though I don’t typically play Dwarves.

That's alright. I'll be working on the other races soon, as well. In fact, if you have any favorites you are possibly interested in, let me know, and maybe I'll work on one of them next.

Well, I'm always up for a Tiefling! But given how overexposed they are in 5E, I won't fault you for banning them. I also like Elves, Drow included, and Hobgoblins.

No, I've always had a soft spot for the plane-touched races, and they were always an integral part of Lost Souls long before 5E came along, so Tieflings will absolutely be playable. Especially in a place like Renosia. Same with certain kinds of Genasi (Fire, Smoke, Ash, Lava, and Radiance, in particular). But also Drow and Hobgoblins, too.

That looks neat! Though all those penalties for being out of the Underdark could be a problem. Will the game have ample opportunity to return there and "recharge?"
