As the party talks, the captain starts leading some of the crew in a sea shanty. It's off-key, in bad Common, and out of sync. But they seem to be having a good time with it.
"Yo-ho, yo-ho Sailing is such fun Yo-ho, yo-ho Much faster than a run Yo-ho, yo-ho Let's drink a lot of rum! Yo-ho, yo-ho We'll make a lot of mon......ey."

"I say, m'lady, didn't you mention that two elves had been sighted in Daltigoth these past few days, and that they even came to our match against the sligs? Perhaps those are our fellow passengers?"

Ravarie looks towards the two cloaked figures once again, and considers if they might be the elves that were watching the games. She decides to go find out, and walks away from her little group to speak to them. "Um, hi," she says awkwardly.

Grognak intently watches Ravarie’s conversation, ready to jump in if things go sour.

The two figures share a look, then remove their hoods. As Dorias suspected, they are both elven--Silvanesti, in fact. Both have fair skin and blonde hair. One is male with green eyes, while the other is female and has pale blue eyes. Both of them look a bit awkward themselves, as if unsure what to say. Finally, the male clears his throat and speaks up. "Gi suilon, Ravarie. Tolo ar nin mélamar," he says. Translation: "Hello, Ravarie. We have come to take you home."
Ravarie recognizes both of them. They are Sorrith and Lalora, the children of Iona Starshine. Iona was Ravarie's fifth and most recent mistress, before the Young Bloods freed her from Silvanesti bondage. She was also the only one who was ever kind to Ravarie.

Ravarie eyes widen in pure shock as she looks over the two elves standing before her. She never expected to know who they were! At first, she doesn't know what to say, but she finally seems to come over her shock after she realizes what they are saying to her, and she starts speaking in her language. "You were the two at the arena," she says bluntly. "And you came to find me?" she asks in disbelief.

Dorias watches the exchange between Ravarie and the two elves with interest, but since there appears to be no danger, he leaves Ravarie to deal with what appears to be a personal matter.
OOC: If he can hear what's being said without moving from his perch, then obviously he's curious enough to eavesdrop.

Unfortunately, as Dorias is on the forecastle and the elves are on the aft, and between the crashing of the waves, the creaking of the ship and the singing of the crew, eavesdropping is all but impossible unless he moves much closer. However, the very tall hooded passenger joins him on the forecastle and seems to have taken an interest in him, watching the half-elf closely. Meanwhile, over at the aftcastle, the elves continue their conversation with Ravarie in their native tongue. "Yes," says Sorrith. "Our mother has sent us to find you and return with you." He exchanges a look with his sister before continuing. "She is dying. She wishes to speak with you before then."

Ravarie's expression changes from one from shock to one of concern. "I am sorry about your mother," she says. "But what could she possibly have to say to me? I was only her slave."

The elves continue their conversation. "We...don't know," Sorrith replies.
"She would not tell us," Lalora clarifies, crossing her arms.
Sorrith adds, "But she sent us to find you, and we've spent the last half year doing just that. We tracked you to Daltigoth, and weren't sure how to proceed. But then you were freed by lucky chance. Or maybe the grace of the gods."
Meanwhile, the captain approaches Grognak. "You biggest goblin ever seen. Almost as big as hobgoblin. Must come in handy, being so tall, eh?" he asks.

"Good day to you, mysterious fellow traveller," Dorias greets the tall passenger. "Can I help you with something?"

Shock seems to cross Ravarie's face again upon what she just heard, and she looks down at her feet for a few moments. She starts speaking, and looks back up to the elves again, clearly confused, but sympathetic to whatever is being said. She then points towards Dorias for a moment before dropping her hand back to her side. "Half a year?" Ravarie asks in surprise as she finally looks up at the two of them. "I've been fighting at the arena for a year and a half I think," she admits with a sigh. "And I'm a little shocked that she hasn't told either of you what she wants to speak to me about." She clearly doesn't have a clue as to what it could be about. "But, I'm willing to go back to hear what she has to say. Though, I promised to help Dorias over there," she says, pointing towards Dorias and whoever he is speaking to. "That I would help him find his cousin or some family member."

Grognak (Center of deck)"No kidding? Not even know one could be half a goblin," the captain says. "Where you come from, Sikk'et Hul? Heard lots of goblin types up there." Ravarie (Aftcastle)The elves continue their conversation. Lalora frowns and raises a brow. "The half-elf? Really?"
"Then we will accompany you and keep you safe until you return home, as per our mother's wishes," Sorrith interjects. Dorias (Forecastle)The figure removes the hood, revealing that she is an ogre, and a familiar one, at that. It is none other than his number one fan, Dhall'a. "Finally, you are free. And we can be together!" she exclaims, before embracing the half-elf in a rather strong bear hug that nearly lifts him off his feet.

Ravarie narrows her eyes a bit at the female elf, and shakes her head. "I've been fighting for my life, with him and the half goblin, for a little while now," Ravarie points out Lalora. "Race and prejudices don't matter in that situation, and they don't matter to me now," she says firmly in defense to Dorias and Grognak. Those two were as close to friends as Ravarie has really ever had, and she is pretty loyal to them both even though she isn't great at showing it. "I don't know how long this is going to take though, Sorrith," she says. "Are you sure you are willing to come along with me until it is done?"
