“One parent goblin, one parent human. At least, that what hunters say,” Grognak elaborates. “Not sure where from. Forest. Somewhere. I’ll have to find it someday.”

Grognak (Center of deck)"Forest, eh?" the captain repeats. "Not know much about forest. But heard things. Two big forests on Southern Ergoth. One belongs to elves. Other to Solamnics. Also, big forest over on Cristyne island. Never been to any, though. Prefer the seas." Ravarie (Aftcastle)The male elf speaks. Sorrith puts a hand on his sister's shoulder, to prevent her from responding. Instead, he says, "We understand. We have also had to work with undesirables to survive out here. It is a...necessity in these parts. We will stay with you until you are back, as we promised our mother. But her time is not infinite. Keep that in mind.

Ravarie still looks slightly annoyed at the elves standing before her, but she continues to speak with them all the same. Whatever she is speaking about does seem rather serious. Ravarie decides not to comment on the whole "undesirables" comment because it just wasn't worth it. These people, no matter how nice they were to her, kept slaves. Nearly everyone was undesirable in their eyes, and she wasn't really sure how she was going to change their minds about that. "Do you know how much time she has?" she asks.

The figure removes the hood, revealing that she is an ogre, and a familiar one, at that. It is none other than his number one fan, Dhall'a. "Finally, you are free. And we can be together!" she exclaims, before embracing the half-elf in a rather strong bear hug that nearly lifts him off his feet. Dorias' jaw drops in astonishment as Dhall'a hugs him close. "L-lady Dhall'a, what a...what a surprise!" he stutters. "I am flattered, I truly am, but I fear that where I am going, you cannot follow. It would be far too dangerous for you and my code and conscience both forbid me from placing a lady in danger of death or injury!"

Ravarie (Aftcastle)The male elf speaks up. "The healers said she had maybe a year," Sorrith answers. "But that was when we left, six months ago." Dorias (Forecastle)Dhall'a releases Dorias from her grip and pulls away to look down at him. "But what about her?" she asks, pointing to the Kagonesti. "Is she not also traveling with you? Besides, if it is dangerous, that's even more reason for me to come with you, to protect you."

Ravarie sighs and gives the elves a little nod of understanding. "I can only hope that whatever we have to do won't take too long then," she says. "I should let them know that you two will be joining us, so please excuse me, unless you want to introduce yourselves?"

“Probably from Solomonic forest,” Grognak says.

Grognak (Center of deck)"Ahhh, that why you going north then," the captain reasons. "Makes sense, makes sense. Cross Last Gaard Mountains, and boom, are there." Ravarie (Aftcastle)The male elf says something, and the female jabs her elbow into his ribs for it. "Probably best if we leave it to you," Sorrith says. "Besides, Lalora will probably say something rude." She jabs her elbow into his ribs for saying that.

Ravarie laughs lightly, and nods. "I'll, uh be back then," she says in common before she walks off towards Dorias and his guest. "Uh, excuse me?"

Dorias' 'guest' is an eight foot tall ogre woman. Her eyes flash and she steps forward, almost protectively, in front of Dorias. "Back off, hussy. We are having a private conversation," she warns menacingly toward the Kagonesti.

"Your concern for my well-being is, ah, heartwarming, dear lady, but we are going to my home in Zhea Harbour. I shall be in no danger there, nor will lady Ravarie. You, on the other hand, are an ogre and - if the rumours I've heard are true - a Stormdancer. I fear that the recent, ah, unpleasantness between our peoples is neither forgiven nor forgotten. Even if it were not so, I could not be with you as you wish. I follow an ancient and sacred code that forbids me from ever pledging my heart to one person, and if I were to cease following my code, I would cease to be...well, I would cease to be me, really."
"Ah, lady Ravarie. If you could give us a moment? Lady Dhall'a and I have some important personal business to discuss. I shall be with you as soon as I am able."

“Actually, visiting Other One’s pack in ‘village’. But good advice. Will go there next.”

Ravarie raises an eyebrow at the ogre, and then leans a bit to the side to look at Dorias with a questioning look. "Right," she finally says and backs up a bit from the couple. She knows that isn't going to go well.

Grognak (Center of deck) "Sound good, sound good," the captain says. "But if ever change mind, can always join crew. All races welcome here, even goblin. Even half-goblin."
Ravarie and Dorias (Forecastle)
D'halla turns her attention away from Ravarie and back to Dorias. "I can disguise myself in human lands. See?" She pulls her hood up again, obscuring her features. "Besides, if anyone tries to get between us, I will crack open their heads and rain pain upon them," she swears, clutching her fist for emphasis.
"Eh? So...what does that mean? You can't carry on your family name?" she asks, scratching her head in puzzlement. "Then just change the code. Life is chaotic, like churning ocean. Rules are meant to be broken. Nothing, not even the gods themselves, can stand in the way of love. It will always find a way."

Ravarie covers her mouth to hide a smile upon hearing the conversation. ~How is he going to get out of this?~
