Jaeron the gnome smiles kindly to the other gnome and takes the book looking it over he decides "Yes this will do nicely thank you." he says as he writes down the information verbally told to him then copies the pages he determines to be of the most importance in his vision of useful information. "So how long have the Crimson Wolves been apart of the area? I recently had a run in with that slaver organization and it baffles me why they are allowed to operate in such a great city of goodly folk, I found it rather odd fitting since their means are rather the opposite of the people and the temple at least that is my view of it. Taking folk from their homes and selling them off into slavery."

"I'm not looking to impress the hoi polloi, tailor. Linen will do for the tunic and pantaloons. These boots were leather and so was the belt. The same will do again. As for colours, I like blues and greens if you have them, white is good as well."

Hearthglow Inn (Kalana, Senllip, Imrich) Kalana makes her way to the inn, and finds that Senllip and Imrich are there. Senllip is wearing a new outfit, but Imrich is still in his burned clothes. The genasi sits at the bar, drinking shots while speaking to a well-dressed man who is rummaging around in a large bag of clothes.
The man takes Imrich's measurements, and then provides a seafoam green linen tunic, as well as a white one, a pair of dark blue linen pantaloons, a leather belt, and two pairs of leather boots. The whole thing, including a small gratuity for making a house call, comes to eight gold pieces.
Archives of the Temple of Octhanus (Jaeron) "I'm not sure I understand," the woman replies. "Slavery is illegal in Serenity. No slaving organization is allowed to do business within the city. And they certainly aren't allowed to take people from their homes! Where did you see this? If this is true, it should be reported to the sheriff right away. He's the head of the law enforcement of this city. Aguru Smallfoot is his name, I believe."

"Where did you get the money for new clothing?" Kalana asks Senllip as she approaches him.

Jaeron "Saw it first hand myself and I was working with the sheriff to try and stop them, unfortunately the slavers got away. They also claimed they didn't care if they died since the temple would raise their dead anyway. So it made it sound like they were known and allowed to work here. Forgive me I wasn't trying to indicate anything wrong with the temple or serenity but slavers were working here causing the very disappearances of the refugees. The crimson wolves were taking them and selling them as slaves somewhere else, they had a ship."

"Yes, these will do nicely, tailor. Thank you," Imrich says as he pays off the tailor.
"Captain!" Imrich greets Kalana as she enters the inn. "We're in luck! The innkeeper had some rooms to spare so we won't be sleeping on the streets, at least. And she has Teufelstöter - good Swadian spirits! Care to join me?" he asks, gesturing at the bottle in front of him.

Hearthglow Inn (Kalana, Senllip, Imrich) The tailor accepts the gold and turns over the new clothes. Of course, the common room isn't a very good place to change. The innkeeper returns at this point, with keys to the party's new rooms. "These are a bit nicer than the old rooms, so I hope you enjoy them," she says.
Archives of the Temple of Octhanus (Jaeron) "So they weren't kidnapping people out of their homes, but were taking refugees instead?" the priestess asks, trying to keep the details straight. "And if the sheriff was trying to stop them, wouldn't that suggest they were not acting legally?" she points out. "I assure you, slavery is illegal here. No slaver organization is allowed to operate in this city. It's somewhat unthinkable any would even dare try. These Crimson Wolves must have been quite desperate to even try such a thing. Even the Bloody Chain, the most powerful of the slaver organizations, would not be so bold."

Kalana looks down at the bottle, and after all of the she just went through mentally, turning down a drink or two isn't a bad idea. "I don't think I've had Teufelstöter," she admits as she takes a seat. "You are oddly chipper, which is a drastic change from when you were speaking with the priest."

Jaeron smiles glad to hear the information and makes sure that is in his transcribing. "Very well they must have been here for some time, probably followed the refugees here or pretended to be them. I'll have to tell you about my encounter with the Bloody Chain as well." the gnome retells the tale of how he and his friends were enslaved and the adventure underwater then the most recent encounter with the Crimson Wolves.

After buying new cloth Senllip goes to clean himself. He goes to the public bath pays the fund and enters the hot clean water. He rubs away all the dirt fiercely, few times and after replacing the water to clean ones takes several long minutes to rest and restore his spirit, using the time to cheat chat with the crowd, "Have you heard about the magician that was going around here? It appears he was operating slavery cell here for the Crismon Wolves." Senllip also offers the magician description and asks if anyone knows about him enough so they may have leads where to search him.
After the bath he changes to the new cloth, dispose of the old ones and returns to the inn to meet Imrich and Kalana. "I took few coins from the group pool. I said it when I took it. Imrich doesn't need to pay for us now that we have money." He tells Kalana the exact price and adds, "You can ask the tailor himself." and gesture to him.
===================================== (OOC: It was not discussed before since we had all the OOC conversations, chapter end and split of the group, but let's say we discussed and agreed everyone should have few coins for normal expenses out of the pool. Senllip wouldn't steel bluntly. He might sometimes offer to help carrying others belonging for safe keep.)

Archives of the Temple of Octhanus (Jaeron) The archivist listens to Jaeron's tale with rapt attention. She then says, "That's an incredible tale. You were most lucky that those Bloody Chains didn't have their wizard with them, or they would have used their power to strip you of your free will. I've heard the stories of how they work. Their disregard for the lives of others is...most disquieting. But what is this war beneath the waves you mentioned? I haven't heard anything about the mer kingdoms being at war. I wonder what caused it?"

Jaeron shares the rest of the tale about the underwater war at least as much as he was able to learn.

Archives of the Temple of Octhanus (Jaeron) As Jaeron speaks, the archivist pulls out some blank scrolls and starts penning down some of what he is saying. When he is done, she says, "I'll report about this to my superiors. I'm sure the church will want to know that there's a war going on. Odd we haven't heard anything about it until now, but I guess we've had our hands full with all these refugees. If only Hashadeth hadn't been attacked, we could devote our full resources to stopping this war. But I'm sure we'll do what we can."

Jaeron nods and finishes his scribing and will thank the gnome and look for the others.

Jaeron finds no trace of the others in the temple. He figures they likely returned to the inn, so he heads there. Once back at the Hearthglow, he finds he was right. Kalana, Imrich and Senllip are all present. Imrich is at the bar, drinking shots, a bag of new clothes at his side. Senllip and Kalana are nearby, speaking to each other. The halfling is wearing new linen clothes.
