"Have you thought about staying on this ship?" Ravarie asks. "Or...well, you could continue to travel with me."

Ravarie "A ship of misfits does some appropriate," Sorrith replies. "But we are not sailors. I was in training to become a skyrider, and Lalora a wilderness scout. Besides, if Captain Serinda ever hopes to reestablish relations with Silvamori, I don't think she can do it if she is harboring a pair of dark elves."
"You mean on your quest to invade and subjugate our people?" Lalora asks.
"We will consider all of our options carefully before coming to a decision," Sorrith adds.
Srill Hunner ascends up to the upper deck. It's a pleasant, sunny day. A strong wind helped the Sevenstar along northward, along the coast. Should he look east, he might spot a herd of axebeaks (large, flightless birds) wandering around on the shore, curiously watching the ship pass by.
No sign of the elves, they must all be below deck still. But Reeker is climbing the rigging, Zalura is on the aftcastle, looking out to sea, Kronn is on the helm, gently turning the ship's wheel while holding a conversation with Captain Serinda, who stands next to him.

"I don't want to subigate..," Ravarie says, and then takes a deep breath. "The Kagonesti could help keep you two in your chosen fields."

"If living with the Kagonesti is so great, why did you leave them?" Lalora asks. "As I recall, you left your tribe to live alone, didn't you?"
Sorrith adds, "I suppose it's a moot point anyway. We are sailing away from the elflands. I doubt the captain would be willing to turn the ship around and go back at this point."

"You know," Ravarie says. "I came in here to help," she says to Lalora. "And I realize that you are...beyond angry at me for what happened, but you have been nearly hostile towards me since you found me. Aside from what just happened, what have I ever done to you?" She asks. She doesn't sound angry, but more honestly curious.

Gritting her teeth, Lalora stands and practically gets up in Ravarie's face. "You have been meddling with my family since they took you in! First you tried to mess up my brother's marriage, but now you've really outdone yourself!"

"How did I try to mess up your brother's marriage?" Ravarie asks. While she doesn't exactly enjoy having the woman in her face, she doesn't back away. "And I never meddled in your family's business until just recently. Up until that point, I juat did as I was told."

"Don't play dumb with me," Lalora warns. "Sorrith told me all about the little incident in the bathhouse."
Sorrith clears his throat and stands up. "What's in the past, is past. We should focus on the future, not bringing up what's already said and done and cannot be undone."

Hunner sigh, and go to the captain, look pale and sickly, but keep his ginger smile. 'Good day Captain! I know an aging knight like me, is a little of intrest for you- and still, you were generouse and helpful. Is there any way, my connections here, could help you? I am the brother in law of the commander here.'

Ravarie stands there for a moment before she looks at Sorrith. "No, what did you tell her?" she asks. "Because it kind of sounds like it is much different than what I remember."

Ravarie "I...only told her the truth," Sorrith answers. "Look, it was a long time ago. Does any of that matter? I say leave the past in the past."
Hunner The captain turns to Hunner. "Here? As in the sea? Ah, you must be referring to Eastwatch. I'm afraid it will be some time before we reach it still. As for your connections, I'm not sure. Normally, I pick up trade goods in Zhea Harbor, take them to Silvamori and pick up new goods, then take those to Eastwatch, sell them and pick up more goods, then return to Silvamori, then back to Zhea Harbor, to start all over again. The problem now, is I don't think I'll be welcome back in Silvamori. I'm not sure what connections you have could help with that."

'Well....' Hunner storking his moustach. 'Maybe if we can arrange it, and you can also act as a messenger, the Order will pay you for passing the letters?'

Ravarie was exasperated. Clearly, Sorrith hadn't told Lalora the truth of what happened that day. Lalora and her had been friends up to that point. What does she do now though? Tell the truth of what happened or no? "Was I really that much of a threat?" She finally asks. "I'm a...dirty Kagonesti after all. It would be a shameful disgrace for your brother to want to be with someone like me." Surprisingly, Ravarie felt oddly hurt.

Ravarie "Exactly," Lalora replies. "Just the rumor alone could have destroyed our family's good name, and ruined my brother's future."
Hunner "Letters to and from Solamnia, I assume?" Serinda asks. "It's a bit out of my way, but if the pay is good enough, I'd accept."
