A week has passed since that tumultuous night. Since then, the Sevenstar has slowly made its way northward, along the coast of the Plains of Tothen. Things have been largely quiet, although those looking out to the east might spot a herd of axebeaks (large, flightless birds) wandering around on land, curiously watching the ship pass by.
It's a cool, clear spring day with a strong northward wind, helping the ship along. The Starshine siblings have been morose, at best, rarely making an appearance on the upper deck. They mostly stay in the crew quarters, alone, even taking their meals there. As such, they are there now.
Reeker seems to have taken well to the crew so far, having been fully excepted despite being a goblin. Oblivious to any problems, he seems fairly upbeat and chipper, even.
Zalura remains an enigma. Periodically, the ship will weigh anchor for whatever reason--to make minor repairs, to gather supplies, etc. When this happens, she takes the opportunity to hop into the water, change into a shark, and swim off for awhile. She always returns in time for the ship to depart, however.
Ravarie has spent most of the voyage so far alone, usually in meditation. Technically speaking, the ocean was nature, too, and so she did what she could to commune with Habbakuk by feeling the waves rock the ship, smelling the salt in the air, and conversing with the fish and gulls they encountered. Sometimes, she would even shapechange into a shark and go hunting with Zalura.
Hunner, on the other hand, had his hands full. It wasn't clear if he was slowly losing it, or if the stress of heading to Eastwatch (he was going to see his family, and wasn't sure what sort of reception he might get) was getting to him. But he continued to see that ghostly Solamnic Knight from time to time. Nobody else seemed to hear or see it, but when he was alone, it almost inevitably manifested and started calling to him. Strike, his loyal steed, was quite antsy, as well. The poor thing had spent weeks now in the hold, and longed for fresh air and running space.
Currently, the captain and her first mate were on the upper deck. The kender was on the helm, gently turning the ship's wheel while holding a conversation with Serinda, like he had been doing it for years.
============
It is now Mishamont 23, Shinarai, at Tenth Watch. Everyone is back to full health. All casters may choose new spells for the day.

Hunner is pale like wax of candle that it about to die. Also his map kept coming out bad. He his failed to regain his honor and-
Skirr slammed his head against the desk again- as he did so much in the last week. He wondered, if the desk started to get Hunner's face's shape. He was starting to mad. He was actually thinking of Hunner as 'I'
It was madness. No way Parpillia wouldn't expose him. Yes. Trauma. Of course, but will it explain ALL of the cracks in his roleplay? Wouldn't Parpillia notice that he isn't him?
He need to go back. Yes. To the bullying, and humilation, but at least it was REAL. It made sense!
But if he will leave, who will help Ravarie!?
What? 'Takhisis have mercy on me, this is too much.' he prayed very shortly- as in his trainings, he was warned to not pray to Takhisis, not even in privace- the walls had ears. The wizards and clergy had ways.
Hunner forced himself out, to take a breath. 'I feel like a damn dwarf.' he laugh. 'The sea hates me'

Ravarie stands from where she was sitting on the deck (out of everyone's way). Her meditations were complete, at least for the time being. She had spent most of her time alone because she wanted to give Lalora and Sorrith some space, but had she given them enough space? Was there really anything she could do at this point to make things right? Well, the only way she was going to know for sure is if she went down there to at least check on them, so she gathers her courage and heads below deck to check on Lalora and Sorrith.

As Skirr sat in his cabin, agonizing over what he would do, he felt a cold draft suddenly. His breath became visible as the temperature dropped like a stone. "Hunner..." whispered a voice. It was right in his earhole, but looking around, there was nobody else in the cabin.
Ravarie descends to the lower deck and finds the siblings in their cabin, the door hanging open ajar. Approaching it, she could hear their voices, as they spoke to each other insde.
"Eastwatch is human lands," Lalora was saying. "Can we really survive there?"
"I suppose it beats going back to the ogre lands," Sorrith pointed out.
Lalora shudders. "I would rather die, to be honest, than go through that again."

Ravarie pauses at the door as she processes what she just overheard. ~What happened to them in the ogre lands?~ she thinks to herself. They didn't become slaves, otherwise they would have been put in the fights. She purses her lips together and knocks on the door to get their attention. "I...I didn't mean to overhear, but there is another option," she says. She doesn't dare step inside the room just yet as she doesn't really know how Lalora is going to react to her.

"Spying on us?" asks Lalora from inside the room. "What do you want?"

"I..." Ravarie lets out a sigh and pauses on what she was going to say. It wasn't worth starting a fight over something trivial. "I was just checking up on you two," she finally says softly. She looks down at her feet, as she was feeling pretty awkward at this point. She knew that they were going through a hard time, but what exactly was she supposed to do?

Sorrith gestures for her to enter. "We were just discussing our future."
"Such that it is," Lalora adds.

Ravarie cautiously steps inside the room, and carefully moves to sit in front of the siblings. "What are your options?" She asks.

"Well, we can't go home, obviously," Sorrith begins. "Not to Silvamori, not back to Silvanesti once the nightmare has been cleaned away."
"And the ogre lands are obviously out," Lalora adds. "Same with the goblin wastelands."
"The Qualinesti wouldn't take us in; they share a border with Silvanesti, and honestly, they'd shun us for being murderers of our own kind anyway, even if we could prove our innocence somehow," Sorrith continues.
"And then there are the humans," Lalora says. "The Ergothians and the Solamnics. Not sure which is better, or if there is really even a difference between them."
"Finally, there was your offer..," Sorrith mentions.
"But even if you can somehow convince the Kagonesti to accept a pair of dark elves, what exactly are we supposed to do there?" Lalora asks. "Run around barefoot, sleep on the ground, and spear fish in the Thon-Sorpon?"

'WHO IS THERE?!' Hunner draw his sword, shaking. 'SHOW YOURSELF YOU COWARDLY MAGGOT!'

"Hunner..." repeats the voice. A ghostly figure manifests before Skirr, that of a Knight of the Rose. He's a tall, broad-shouldered man with a standard Solamnic mustache, and resplendent armor. However, Skirr can see right through him, as he is transparent and with no color, aside from varying shades of grey.
"You must warn Broadblade...Ser Hunner, you must..!" the spectral figure cries.

"What you do if you were to stay with the Kagonesti would be up to you," Ravarie says. She decides not to go into the whole spiel that the Kagonesti aren't that bad, and that she thinks if Sorrith and Lalora did stay with them, they would probably learn something. "Either way, it sounds like your options are the Ergothians, the Solamnics, or the Kagonesti. You have mentioned the cons, but what about the pros of the three?" she asks.

Skirr inside screeched with horror. Was his disguise so good, that he has decieved even entities from beyond the vale? It didn't brought him pride. It terrified him. How deep was the shapeshift?! What was he even doing? Maybe Takhisis didn't made mistake with all the others Sivaks who had hard time to keep character- maybe HE was the deffected one?
Hunner panted. 'Who are you? Why should I trust you? To warn Broadblade of WHAT?!" His tone rose with growing panic

Ravarie "To be honest, we don't know enough to really be sure," Sorrith replies. "I guess we'll find out more about the Solamnics when we reach Eastwatch."
"But if Hunner is anything to go by, I can't say I have a high expectation of them so far," Lalora adds.
Skirr "Have you forgotten me, old friend?" the spectre asks. "Do you not remember how we faced our trials to become knights side by side?" The figure starts to fade in and out, as if growing weaker. "Danger comes! You must warn Broadblade! The dragon--"
Whatever more the spectre was going to say is cut short, when it disappears entirely. The room is now silent, and the warmth is slowly returning.
