While calendars do exist--Kori saw them in the Tower of Wayreth--the printing press does not. Thus, they are fairly rare, as they have to be created either by hand or with magic. It's unlikely a dinky inn like this would possess one.
However, it occurs to Kori that it's fairly moot anyway. If Zalura does indeed come from beneath the sea, she has no idea what a calendar even is. There is no paper, ink, reading or writing where she comes from--likely not even a day and night cycle. Even if Kori had a calendar to point to, Zalura would be unable to read it or even know what it was.

Hunner smile somberly. "...I will pay you all back. Somehow." He promise. He turn to Zalura, try to use what ever intuation he gained from trying to communicate with the sea elf(?) for weeks. He point at himself, then do gesture of walking with his fingers. Then do mimicry of slashing and bashing, then do a circle movement including the group, then point at Zalura.

Hunner thinks back to the moment when he saved Zalura back on the boat. He could have sworn, at the time, he heard her speak. But did he? Or was it just the fevered imagination of someone who thought they were going to die? For the past few weeks, he had tried to communicate with her again, but to no avail.
She watches him pantomime, and tilts her head. After a few moments of thought and hesitation, she tentatively holds her hand out to the knight. Almost like she were offering him something, but her hand appears empty.

"What did she say?" Ravarie asks. "That she'd like to get out and do something. Me too, I'd say."

Ravarie looks over to Zalura and Hunner for a moment. "Well, this is new," she says.

Hunner confused, but mimic her gesture. Was it some sort of ritual?

Zalura touches Hunner's own outstretched hand. Her skin feels a bit rough and--strangely enough--a little moist, not unlike touching a shark's hide. You can hear me? You can understand me? Hunner 'hears' the words not out loud, but in his mind. Zalura's mouth does not move and the others around him don't see to hear anything; it is only him.

"Those two have a little bit of a connection, so maybe this is some form of communication," Ravarie says to Kori.

Hunner look stunned. "Yes! I hear you in my head!" He look at the elven ladies. '....she somehow send her words in common through her hand!'

"That is...amazing. Can you tell her that we plan to leave tomorrow if she wants to come with us?" Ravarie asks.

"Hmm...is it for everyone, or just you? I can't imagine what would be so special about a human knight that two elven magic-users don't have," Kori wonders aloud.

"It might be just him, or she might be just willing to share it with him because he was the one to save her," Ravarie says. "Or I guess they kind of saved each other."

Hunner attempts to project his own thoughts to Zalura, something he's never tried before and isn't entirely sure how to do. So he just tries thinking very hard, focusing on it. I see. You wish me to come with you, to call in my lifedebt? Very well. If this is your wish, I will fight along your side until we are even, she 'says.'
