Kallian snorts at the Dwarf who apparently thinks he's a tough guy. "Yeah, I'm looking for work. You got any?" shakes his head "I've no luck finding any work as of yet. Appears they look for groups of folk round these parts and none of em be lookin for any new joiners."------------- Now in the present.... Brax looks at the fellow talking with Kallian and shakes his head more "None of these groups want any newbies that I've talked with I wouldn't waste your time lass. Unless there is some other group around here that I've not met." the dwarf scans the room looking for any potential groups he does not recognize. |

"Black sun no openings....Sisters of the Sea full. Red Hawks eh? I think they're full but you know I haven't talked to them yet."

Aata nods sympathetically. "Yes, most of the groups formed very early on. Newcomers have a hard time breaking in, usually having to wait until someone else dies and take their spot. But, well, there is one group you might look up. The Blue Moons. I'm friends with their captain; they went on a mission and lost two of their own. They've been recovering the last couple of days, but...well, who knows? Perhaps they might be looking to refill their ranks. You can find their ship out in the harbor. It's a sohar named the Blue Moon."

"Yeah, these moonies sound like a good bet," Kallian grunts, before leaving the tavern to find the ship Aata spoke of.

"I'm afraid removing curses is beyond me still," Auli'i says. "I only completed my training recently. My powers are still limited."
Brax and Kallian (Harbor)
Brax and Kallian head for the harbor. There are only a handful of ships docked here, and only one sohar, which is quite fortunate as neither can read the writing on the side of the ship marking it as the Blue Moon.
Currently, there are only two people on deck. A male human and a female dwarf, both doing mundane chores like swabbing the deck.

Brax smiles at the luck of there only being one of the specified ship types docked. "Well that was fortunate eh?" he says as Kallian calls out to them.

Kalana opens her mouth to say something to her group when she hears the screaming from the deck. With a small frown, she looks down from the ship at the woman and dwarf. "...May I help you?" she asks coolly.

Before either sailor can reply, a woman comes up from below decks. She looks to be in her mid-twenties, with tanned skin and dark hair tied up in a light blue ribbon. Her brown eyes shine in annoyance, and her lips are curled in a slight frown. She wears exquisitely made leather armor, and has a pair of ordinary sabres on her hips.
Upon reaching the deck, Kalana sees two people on the dock, at the base of the gangplank. One is a stout, bald dwarven man with a long, braided auburn beard, brown eyes, and a stoic look. He is wearing perfectly-fitted studded leather and has a holster on his belt with a couple of pistols, and is, oddly enough, pushing along a wheel-barrow with a chest in it. The other is a stern-looking elven woman with short brown hair and blue eyes, and an ugly scar across her nose and cheek. She bears the red vestments of Renos brigandine armor that looks like she is having trouble moving in. A large mace sticks out of her backpack.
"They were asking for you, cap'n," says Liko. "Never seen 'em before."

Senllip also shows up and says, "You are available to snuff? To be snuffed? Sunffing.. Snuffted.. Interesting verb. So you want to help us free our friends and a several other captives? Where did you come from? What is your interest in saving these people? It looks like you have many stories to tell. We like hearing stories... over ale? Grog?" he both interrogates and offer drinks which is always good even if you don't trust the company.

Kallian rolls her eyes. "We're available for hire. No, I'm not interested in saving people, I'm interested in killing things for money. And since you just lost two of your men, I assumed you'd want some backup."
