Kalana and Senllip
It's been two days since the harrowing encounter with the slaadi at the Whispering Wind Inn. Shortly after Kalana escaped, Senllip caught up with her. He told her that Imrich resigned and flew off toward the harbor. As far as either of them know, Jaeron remains imprisoned. The two head for the harbor and practically collapse once inside the makeshift inn.
Fortunately, there were clerics of Octhania within that removed the eggs in their systems and healed them up a bit. The pair were brought back to their ship, where their crewmen still waited (having been under orders not to leave the ship). They have since been recovering. Jaeron never appeared, which seems to confirm he's either dead or still imprisoned. Fortunately, it will still be another few weeks before those eggs hatch, so the party has time to rescue them all.
Imrich wound up joining another merc group, the Black Sun. He has not returned to the Blue Moon since his resignation.
This morning, Kalana and Senllip wake up finally feeling back to their old selves; their strength and vigor fully returned. They eat breakfast and then consider their next step. With Jaeron still missing, and Imrich having quit, they are down to just two.
Brax
Brax had arrived in Tu'Valie the previous day, having finished up a contract with a merchant ship that dropped him off at the docks. He spent the entirety of yesterday asking around, and it seems his suspicions have been confirmed--this was indeed the work of the Son of Crizza. Sadly, he seems long gone now. But with no other leads at the moment, Brax figured he could at least find some work in town. Unfortunately, it hasn't been that easy. Jobs are only given to groups, and while there are several groups at the moment--Aata's Adventurers, Sisters of the Sea, and Black Sun, to name a few, none are currently accepting new positions. (Apparently, the Black Sun had an opening, but Brax missed it by a day and it has been already filled.) So for now, the sharpshooter has had to stay at the local inn, which is actually a converted warehouse, and wait for an opportunity. Looking around this morning, he sees that all three groups are currently present. Each one has claimed a table and its members are eating breakfast and discussing their job for the day.
Kallian
Kallian steps onto the docks, overlooking the massive destruction of the city before her. Even though the attack was weeks ago, the city has not come even close to being put back together. Most of the survivors have sort of built a temporary shantytown of sorts on the docks. An old warehouse has been converted into an inn, and a number of merchants have opened up small vendor stands to buy and sell goods. Mercenaries and adventurers protect the area from monsters still in the city. This should be a perfect opportunity for her to find some work and earn some coin. But first she needs to find out who is in charge around here, so as to acquire said work.
